Re: Live Music?? (NDYC's)

I went to see Muse at the Millennium Dome on Sunday. They were superb!! I saw them on this tour earlier in the year at the Olympic Stadium. It’s a great show. The dancers were especially awesome, right? Bought my tickets on StubHub for £30 each the day before, which felt much better than £75 each T...

Re: Bye Bye Boris!

What's he saying ?? Not sound allowed at work... An upset father confronts Boris, moaning that the NHS doesn’t get the funding or support it needs. Upset father then suggests that it’s a bit much for Boris to be there, at the hospital, for a press opportunity Boris then says Stood there, stood in f...

Re: Decent Recent TV

I appreciate this is Decent *RECENT* TV, but I’ve been at home feeling poorly sick, and throughly enjoying Long Way Round, back from 2004. It’s on Amazon Prime now I don’t remember really watching it when it was on first time It’s so lovely. I throughly recommend it. Absolutely ideal for watching sa...

Re: New iPhones

Native usb-c would be nice, but the usb-c to lightning cables have been around for a while and its meant I can travel with just one charger now. You can imagine the outcry from joe public should they get rid of lightning! Bound to happen sooner than later though. ”Apple change their chargers ALL TH...

Re: FTAO of mobile phone owners/users

Current XS Max is better as the glass has only chipped on both the front and the back rather than cracked. Is it true that if you break the back glass Apple have will replace the phone? £600 doesn’t seem too back for a brand new phone considering I need both the front screen, the back and the batte...

Re: FTAO of mobile phone owners/users

I'm amazed anybody uses a screen protector though, they totally ruin the feel of the screen, never understood how you can get used to that. Massively this. The glass ones don’t really. They feel very similar to the glass that’s on your phone already The horrible plastic, or worse, those kinda gel t...

Re: FTAO of mobile phone owners/users

I’ve used a leather Apple case since they introduced the camera lens bump. It offends me that putting the phone down without a case leaves it balanced on the lens, but also makes it much easier to prop up and watch things on a train table - the leather hits a good balance between slippery and gripp...

Yes I follow, and was wondering how that worked. Have you got to visit an Apple shop to change phone?

Re: Apple iPhone upgrade programme

Your other option would be just to buy the phone, on the interest free Barclays finance, then just sell the phone after a year to pay your interest free loan off XS Max purchase price - £1099 You’d have paid £69 in store, plus 11 x £51.50 = £635.50 You’d still owe Apple - £463.50 But you can current...

Re: Apple iPhone upgrade programme

You can do “iPhone Payments” where you pay the first £69 in store, then the rest is interest free, over 20 months. Or “iPhone Upgrade Programme” where you also pay £69 in store, then the cost of the iPhone plus Apple Care is paid, interest free, over 20 months. Using this, they allow you to early up...

Re: Apple iPhone upgrade programme

Does anyone on here use it? It looks a brilliant way to own an iPhone even if you don’t want to trade it in every twelve months because it’s interest free and includes AppleCare for free. I’m sim only so this seems to be a much cheaper way of buying an iPhone. Downsides? I use it. I’ve had it since...

Re: FTAO of mobile phone owners/users

I use one of the leather Apple cases.

- It protects the phone well enough when I drop it.
- It makes the back flat, eliminating the wobble caused by the camera bump.
- It’s not very big, so doesn’t really make the phone much bigger.

Re: New iPhones

Its all about the cameras these days and incremental updates. Not sure what the next big thing will be, but also not sure what people are wanting them to magic out of their ass either. Folding screens look great if they allow someone to make a device like the ones they use in Westworld, but that's ...
