Re: Your fleet running reports

Yes the latest ND 184. The repairs aren't too expensive if you can do them yourself. Mazda insist on fitting a complete dash cluster for some reason even though the screen is available separately for less than £200, the bushes are £325.

Re: Your fleet running reports

New dash cluster fitted to the mx5 today after the screen displaying the engine info failed. The mileage must be stored in the cluster as it had one mile on the new clocks when I collected it. The repair is recorded in the service history but I may look into having the mileage "corrected"....

Re: No F1 thread?

Albon's car can't be repaired after his shunt and Williams don't have a spare chassis/tub. The decision has been made to give Sargeant the boot for the weekend to enable Albon to compete.

Re: Selling Cars Privately

I don't mind selling cars either, you just have to expect a few idiots and not take them too seriously. I did however sell my c63 to the trade as I knew that could end up being a world of pain.

Hideous.

I did see a lovely '70s Alfa Spyder further down the road on Sunday, so at least one person has decent taste in the area.

He isn't filming kids though is he. That's just an idiotic claim put out by people who don't like to be caught using their phones behind the wheel.

I've got a Worx tyre inflator and it's very good, it easily inflates our motorhome tyres to 80psi.

I've got a few other Worx bits so can share batteries.

Actually, ignore me as I'm much more than 5% down. I can't remember exactly how much I paid as I swapped investment platforms and lost much of my historical data online. I do have the original paperwork somewhere though, probably best if I don't look at that at the moment  Back to that level ;...

Re: Decent Recent TV

I've just binge watched The Gentlemen series on Netflix and found it quite amusing. Seeing "Simon" from The Inbetweeners in the lead role was a bit of a shock as I hadn't read any reviews before watching it. There is the usual Guy Ritchie over elaborate waffle from many of the characters s...

Re: Damn London tourists and nasties.

I’m in london this weekend. The only bother I’ve had was a “homeless” bloke who accosted me near Monument and tried telling me that it was his 38th birthday and would I give him some money. When I declined he shouted CUNT at the top of his voice which made me laugh

Re: The Watches Thread

Something I noticed while wandering around in Brighton yesterday was how many Rolexes (and other luxury watch brands) there were in all the second hand jewellers (compared to a couple of years ago) During the Covid and post-Covid boom, there just wasn't the stock, but now, every shop seemed to have...

Re: Citroen Relay review

Unfortunately the latest Transit is very unreliable, wet belt problems and injectors failing are pretty common. Ford have recently halved the service time for the belts but seem unable to cure the injector problems as replacements are also failing.
