Re: The Movie Thread

I Like Me on Netflix

Documentary from Colin Hanks about the life of John Candy.

It won’t surprise you to know that there wasn’t a single negative thing anyone could think of about him. He seems to have been exactly what we would have hoped he’d be.

What didn’t know was he got his start in ...

Re: 6 Nations

95% ?? You're being generous - it's probably closer to 99%.

I myself am in the 1% so wont' have an issue cheering for England. however, as you say, I think it wont matter to us as Scotland will beat Ireland but France will beat England

Re: Death

Don’t ever apologise to us Simon. We get it and understand.

I lost my mentor, a great work colleague and then my Godmother in a very short space of time. All three were sudden violent deaths - lightening strike, plane crash and car crash. It knocked me for 6 and I’ll be honest, I’m still not over ...

Re: Hot Wheels

When you see them all laid out like that, it appears, to my eyes at least, that the wheelbase of the Quatro's is shorter than the others and therefore, correct to scale.

Re: The lawn mower thread

OK Lawn experts - some advice.

I'm about to give ours it's first cut of the year before aerating and treating the moss. Is it better to mulch the clippings and leave them or is it better to collect them for this first cut ??

Cheers in advance

I told my dad on the day the war started to quickly order heating oil. He got it for 62p, just looking now and it’s £1.30!

My Dad and Brother tried the same but the Oil Companies aren't accepting Payment in advance - Bill will be the price on the day...

Peaky Blinders – The Immortal Man

My other half is a serious fan so we used seeing this as an excuse for a night out in Oxford. It’s only on limited release as it’s on NetFlix in a few weeks so we went to the Curzon Theatre to check it out.

It’s good without being amazing but It does draw a ...
