Fine print: you must advise us of your intention to take your vehicle on track no less than 578 days before the event, submit it to an inspection by our chosen provider Gazza's MoT and Vape Shop in Dungeness (open 11-12 alternate Thursdays in even numbered months, shop is closed April-August ...

Re: track day insurance

It does say accident damage caused by you or another individual on track.

Im not sure they can go after 3rd parties tracks days are pretty much at your own risk?

That was my understanding from my policies in the past. Everyone insures themselves, but you can't claim from 3rd parties in the ...

Re: track day insurance

Does the Track Day insurance cover your car if you're hit by someone else and they DON'T have Track Day Insurance ??

Presumably it does and they just chase the other guy for the money ??

Re: Motosport / Car Memorabilia

Nice... Mine was an Li (though I've no idea what the models mean but I'd guess GLE > Li  )

It was a great car - I put about 90k miles on it but ultimately lost out to a poorly thought out game of "Cambelt chicken". Before the scrappers took it, I had a poke about under the seats and saw at ...

Re: 2025 review / 2026 plans

For what it's worth, Killarney is a nicer town although it is "Oirsh-Land" for the yanks. But that's not necessarily a bad thing for a short trip as everything you might want - Food, Music, Novelty Mug wearing an Arran Sweater etc...

However, it's probably way more expensive than Tralee ...

Re: Holiday prices

If you want cheap getaways and you don’t mind city breaks go to Poland.

I priced up a trip in September for me and the wife, flying into Wroclaw, staying in a really nice central apartment with Airbnb for 4 days, then getting on a train to Krakow and staying there for 3 days, again in a really ...

Excellent - Two must visits, if you can is Gus O'Connor's pub in Doolin, Co. Clare (Near the Cliffs of Moher) - Unofficially, the best pint of Guinness in the world. (and the Mussels and Trad Music can't be beaten). The other is Dingle (to stay a night if you can) and but you must do the Slea Head ...

It's something I've always wanted to do but never got around to.

There's a EuroCamp down south near Hossigor where each Tent is set up in your own little grass patch section of the Sand Dunes. Private ish etc. You can "Order" bikes, kayaks, the whole 9 yards. Boulangerie van and every morning etc ...

Yep, we've always booked Flights separately and got our own Villa.

Last time was before Covid 2018 - 3 Flights to Alicante were about £1000 and we got a 3 bed villa in a complex, rented directly form the owner, for 2 weeks for £1,200. No private pool but 3 different pools in the complex, including ...

Re: 2025 review / 2026 plans

Another vote for writing - I've found it to be very therapeutic. I started during my lowest point where writing down "What I felt happy about today", "What I can look forward to tomorrow! was necessary but as I've got slowly better, that sort of thing come more naturally (thankfully) so now it's ...
