If, and it's an If, it comes to pass that homeowners are charged a different type of tax on home ownership and in a corresponding move, renters are not charged council tax or similar, renters will end up paying more - its just ...

And you don’t think some landlords will think… “They’re not paying council tax anymore so can afford higher rent - so I’ll raise the rent because they can afford it” ??

But ultimately, it's win win for Burnham because WHEN this happens, he can blame the Tories because, as we all know, most landlord ...

Went down southbank last night as we were down that there London. Despite being hounded by a Quad Bike gang of some sort when we drove in it was a lovely evening.

Had a drink by the National Theatre, had some food, went for a walk and everyone was being pleasant, some cool music about, great ...

Half the trains are cancelled and only the slow ones left - it's a gamble, either the trains will be deserted because everyone has heeded travel warnings and is working from home, or they will be rammed because everyone has to travel anyway and have crammed onto the uncancelled trains!
