Re: Interview presentation advice
Last one of these I did was fucking awful. But i put that down to their interviewing skills rather than my presentation. they wanted it to be in the format of a customer bid. So I had presentation slides and presented space for feedback during the presentation. They just wouldnt engage. "We'll ...

Re: FTAO Scots (and probably others)
Some of the driving up here is absolutely insane and the roads are now carrying way more traffic than they were designed-to, especially seasonally with the NC500. Daily I see people doing overtakes I wouldn't consider in my car, I'd love to know what those drivers are thinking. It's the same on the...

Re: Jaguar's list of binned cars
Ive "Almost" bought a Jag twice. Both times ended back in a BMW due to the jag dealer being shit. XE-S 3.0 V6. Really really nice car. I drove one on a jaguar experience day. really liked it. But the dealers car was overpriced and they were undervaluing my Golf R. BMW offered me a much bet...

Opel Manta with the VAG RS3 5 pot and 450 bhp. Manual with LSD obvs. Modern rear axle setup and suspension. Big brakes.
MST Mk2 with the RS2000 kit. Full fat millington with sequential.
TVR Cerbera. I fucking love a cerbera. Mildly tweaked with the broken design shit fixed and everything working.

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition
Lovely looking car in a great colour but the silver one will be a lot better to drive. 40hp absolutely transforms an s1. Would the throttle bodies/cams/etc on the grey one not add anything? Yep - i would expect its pushing circa 150-160 bhp based on the mods. Engine ITG Carbon air filter KiwiRog (S...

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition
I am in the correct city, but I can't claim to be an Elise expert. :ugeek: Can you ask him to offer an Evora for sale instead? If yes - like George Michael - I'm your man. 8-) Craig Moncrieff (indie based in Edinburgh) does inspections. I've never used him for this but it might be an option for you...

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition
I know that car, it’s parked on my way to work. I’d say it’s lower than that just now. Happy to have a closer look if you want? Its on Nitrons - easily raised if its too low. Yeah, I would’ve assumed. I think it looks great being really low tbh. i ran mine at 135mm front with a 10mm rake

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition
Travel might be inevitable for the right car. Yeah, Glasgow is 7.5 hours of driving from me - more than i’m willing to do for a car that may turn out to be crap! Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition
https://classifieds.seloc.org/ads/lotus-elise-s1-2/ Bit less cash so would give some budget to make it what you want. i really like it - shame it’s in Glasgow. i’m warming to the idea of a cheaper S1 that isn’t perfect, because if it lives outside my house on my drive, even a perfect one isn’t goin...

Like. Re the 190 S2 Exige, is it that hard to supercharge them? Could be some interesting aftermarket options. It’s expensive and not worth it. Just buy a supercharged one. Re: Lotus Elise S1 - tyres?
Thanks guys! I can confirm I am new, and also not a spambot. Good to hear at least someone else is having a good experience with the AD08RS, most of the chat in forums seems to be people lamenting the transition from AD08R to RS but not a huge amount of comparison between tyres we can actually buy ...
