Re: Decent plain t-shirts

Bad Rhino for the huskier gentleman. Dave! I am 11 stone so probably a bit baggy! Cheers all, I will have a wee look. Depends on how tall you are! I've found Weird Fish to be really good quality, holding their shape well. Rapanui isn't bad either. Ordered a pack of 7 for £50 with free shipping, nic...

Re: Exploding tempered glasses

My wife was given home made elderberry cordial a few years back, from a parent of one of her pupils. It exploded and the entire kitchen, pretty much, was covered in stickiness with shards of glass stuck to most surfaces. I steam cleaned so many times to get it useable. Had the chap who gave it been ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

48k service on the Superb, spark plugs and oil and thorough checkover. Feels nice and fit, ready for big miles over the coming month. Still doesn't excite me in any way, but it looks nice enough, fits loads of kit and returns mid to high 30 or more on anythin over a short run. Still missing estate v...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I used the Superb to help a pal move house thise week. he has a cashkai. Two single beds fitted in the back no problem and could see over the top of the matresses easily. Still miss the estate versatility but you could camp in the hatchback tbf! :D Still averaging mid to high 30s and low to mid 40 ...

812 Superfast making progress from South Queensferry area in to Barnton. Two letters, two numbers in grey. May have got the model wrong, it was dark and I just don't know Ferarris that well.

Re: No F1 thread?

I have seen no positive comments online regadringthis change. Barcelona is not a great track tbf, they've rarely had anything but a procession, but street tracks tend to be exactly that as well, although Vegas was quite exciting in the end this year, but then even Monaco has hadthe odd decent race. ...

Re: Recommend a car for my FiL

My friend got a quashqai on lease through his work, he didn't really want it, but he needed a car and it was very cheap. It is a 1.3 petrol mild hybrid and it isn't the top model, but one below and has plenty toys. Not heated seats but hey ho. He averages in the 50s for mpg. Obviously it is vile and...

The Golf was recovered a week or so back, sadly only my bobble hat was in it. I got a lovely letter from the storage yard, thinly disguised as if it was an offical police letter, telling me that as the registered owner I should come and collect the Golf and pay storage fees etc. Cue a 45 minute tra...

First guess got it! Mini Cooper S. 2014 in black. White roof and mirrors. 60 k one owner. Seems to have a decent spec, no idea if it was standard though but has xenons, cruise control. Is 2014 an F56 ? No, the last of the R56 models. We did conisder an F56 S but my wife preferred the shape and size...
