Re: Your fleet running reports

That still wouldn’t have worked though as you can’t just extend the time. Correct procedure is to duct tape a block of wood of the thickness of a disc and 2 pads, which is again one of those things you pick up with experience.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Pretty irrelevant as I’m an amateur. If I had the right tools for the job, as a professional would - a hub removal tool, I’d have had it off in minutes and none of the following events would have happened.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Looks a piece of piss online for the ZF8. Ok it's a bit inconvenient as there's no drain bolt so you have to undo the whole sump and you need a scan tool to read the oil temp to correctly measure the level which seems to range from £60-130. Now do all that - and removing any required undertrays etc...

Re: Your fleet running reports

There’s always been 3 types for non OEM. Basic paper filter which is usually less than £10. Anti microbial filter which is a bit more, then you have activated charcoal.

There’s also the recirculation filter which seems to be made of corrugated plastic.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

Cyclist will be at fault regardless. My mum did the same thing to a cyclist a few years ago but much worse. She didn't look whilst crossing the road at the bottom of a hill and the cyclist crashed into her at quite some speed. She got a few cracked ribs and the cyclist went head first into a curb an...

Re: No F1 thread?

Wasn't it something like 10 updates? Pretty much a spec B car, makes me wonder if they've blown almost the entire seasons R&D budget already.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread

Black LaFerrari with the plate 2XX. Gave it a launch off the red light and managed to get hit the limiter in both first and second in a very short distance. Curiously I did check and it seems to be geared to 120kmh in 2nd which is a tiny bit more than the 20 mph speed limit

Re: Your fleet running reports

Well I said I would never work on the Model 3 after the last shit show but I never listen to myself. So ordered a wheel hub from America, it’s only £60 and the car needed a set of pads. Hey for £60 it’s worth it as Tesla wanted £200 plus VAT to diagnose the noise beyond recommending a new set of tyr...

Re: Teh Spotted Thread

Didn’t someone recently go on about a Guila in some special shade of red which was very rare but looked the bollocks? I think I saw one yesterday and I agree. https://i.postimg.cc/6twpgMmx/IMG-0469.avif?dl=1 C8 Vette - I keep forgetting these were sold here in RHD. I’ve always seen them on their own...

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

Yep driver’s in the fault for that. When I cycle and approach a slow junction which is busy with traffic I will slow down as usually there’s someone who is going to turn in and visibility can be bad for both the driver and the cyclist depending on what car it is or if it’s obstructed by much bigger ...

Re: Anyone in londinium?

Just remembered another one - homelessness. Seems like they binned off most of the shelters and abandoned them. Those YouTubers who like to go to San Fran to film the Tenderloin district can soon enough come here at this rate.

Re: Anyone in londinium?

Worsening public tra...

Re: Anyone in londinium?

Yeah but I feel like it was almost guaranteed. The Tory candidate useless once again, but even if they actually had a decent person the overall Tory dislike is so much it probably wouldn't have changed things. Perhaps time to buy a stab proof vest and mobility scooter. Anyway GE next, get ready for ...

Re: EV Thread

I mentioned this before but it was odd when the sales period for ICE was extended this rule on the proportion of cars sold which must be EV wasn’t updated in line with it so we already have a situation where there’s loads of EVs being pre registered and left on lots, it’s further increasing the depr...
