Re: Your fleet running reports
Considered it briefly then I read somewhere that the car loses its shit if you do that. Also there’s no axle stand points on the car so I can only jack one side at a time then slide the wheel under it for safety https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/model3/en_us/GUID-9E6DD5CB-40BA-4A29-B20D-45730355503...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I mean you spin one wheel and as it’s going through the motor you can’t really get it to freely spin at any sort of speed to get it fast enough to audibly hear anything.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Is it possible for a wheel bearing to go bad without the usual symptom of the noise changing when swerving? I'm running out of ideas on what else it could be on the Model 3. It is a roller bearing rather than tapered bearing if that makes a difference. Can't really spin the wheel by hand at any sort...

Yeah wouldn't work unless someone like TPLink do a proper commercial version which has a decent software behind it.

I believe bonuses are also excluded. So pay everyone minimum wage and give a healthy bonus instead.

Re: FTAO: Sparky people/RichB
I may not be understanding the question, but if you want to remotely control some items plugged into a socket wouldn't a simple smart switch/plug which can be controlled by an app do what you want? Can also set what times it automatically turns on and off and some even monitor energy usage.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Yep, this is definitely a UK (and from what I can see from random dash cams) US phenomena of drivers and cyclists not respecting each other. I don't know what changed as everything was fine a decade ago and there were still plenty of cyclists in London then. Now you've got drivers trying to kill cyc...

Top 3 highest paid personnel in the team are not included in the cost cap. Or something silly like that.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 10:11 amCan't do that with a cost cap. Unless he suddenly has a desire to start a catering company of course

Hopefully it won't be one of those ridiculous 18 month gardening leaves which seems to be all the more common for important people in F1.

Should have bought her what she wanted from Boodles! Or bullet dodged depending on how you look at it!

Frequently see these chaps taking 3 times as long as they should to do simple tasks whenever there's a storm and a branch falls in the road

His habit of comparing everything to a 911 is a bit odd. Did someone big in Porsche shag one of his girlfriends?!

Speaking of Apple pushing devices. For the first time ever I got a pop up on my iPhone with something along the lines of asking me to buy an iPhone 15 as it will give me better battery life and performance. How about you actually put something new and interesting and I’ll upgrade  and no, a wan...
Re: EV Thread
Looks like the UK Model 3 having less power was correct, it’s because it has an inferior battery pack. So the most powerful Model 3 ever is less powerful than it’s predecessor.

Moon looks great this evening, sky is optically clear and some scattered clouds. Not windy either.
Re: EV Thread
The configurator says both motors combined are 460 bhp.
Somethings wrong.
