Re: Your fleet running reports
I still have the EP3, it barely moves and that lack of attention has hit me in the wallet recently. I don't use it over winter much, in a vain attempt to limit corrosion, but I do have a reminder to charge the battery every few weeks. Last attempt to open the car, to charge it up, resulted in a ver...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I’ve put the Lotus on its CTEK charger, it starts fine, but the rev counter goes a bit squirrely when the battery is low. I’m trying the Recond mode to give it a thorough go over - then i’ll be leaving it plugged in whenever i’m not using it. i drove it to work in the traffic and rain when my van wa...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I fitted some Eibach SoLow springs (-45mm) to the van yesterday (well paid someone to). They need a bit of tweaking because the rear is sitting lower than the front, but they have adjusters to level it out. I’ve driven it today and ride quality is still perfectly fine (still the most comfortable “c...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Just had a quick look, they vary pretty wildly in price don’t they. £3k is cheap in any comparison though. Is it solid?!

Yep, and that’s just worse case stuff - what about basic stuff like insurance?

Re: Cars "for loan"
Yeah, i’ve read it several times and still don’t get it.
Quite simply, you borrow the car, absolutely free of charge, after paying a minimum goodwill deposit of £1000.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Mondeo TittyX just ticked over 191,000 miles. Still pulls hard, is comfy and has a lovely chassis. Where it on 50k miles less I'd probably consider keeping it going another couple of years. Has deffo been the best cheap motoring car I've ever owned. Someone stop me from buying this please https://w...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Kids are enjoying the blinds in the rear and ambient lighting. In a somewhat related post, i took my little boy out in the Lotus last night for the first time - His thoughts were: “it was built for fun not comfort and it smells!” He loved it though! The related part was he enjoyed having to hold my...

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition
i did once experience the practical side of tax discs though. I got pulled over by a police car that i passed (they were stationary about to come out from junction) at about 50mph. They caught up and pulled me over, and without even looking at the windscreen the cop said they stopped me because my t...

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition
i’ve been having a flick through the service history file today - loads of info/receipts*. It inspired me to make a better effort to keep track of everything for the rest of our cars too. I’m always going through piles of paper to find V5 docs or whatever, and with MOTs being all on line, i’ve got l...
