Re: Harry’s Garage

When he got it put on he was happy with the compromise and he changed his mind? Personally, I’m livid. I wouldn’t have got power steering on my Countach if I’d known he would change his mind. Its not a specific thing though - it’s the potential of knowing that his reviews are tainted by if he’s giv...

Re: Harry’s Garage

That’s one of the things which made me lose a bit of respect for Harry, not that he cares  Just saw him as one of those people whose opinion you could trust more. He got the power steering fitted for free in return for covering it on the mag. Waxed lyrical about it but then seemed less than im...

I'm looking at massive roof racks & winch bumpers even though I have absolutely no need for either. Maybe I'll just start with a split charge system and an inverter. Just a little bit. That wouldn't hurt, would it ?

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition

If i had an HPE converted car for example, if i had an issue i’d call up Dan to book it in or he’d maybe have an idea of the fault. I refer you back to my post on page 1: Give Dan a £25k CASH DEPOSIT and tell him to surprise you at Christmas... In all seriousness, i wouldn’t be adverse to this idea...

nah, it was a beige Morris Ital - i thought it was awful!

Re: McLaren W1

The P1 was and is incredible looking. this, like a lot of super-duper cars has weird gawky proportions. As i’ll never be driving any, i’ll always favour the pretty ones.

Re: Jobbo interior

It looks awful with the exterior. i think i’d like it on a dark grey car though.

it is very similar to my mums old Morris Ital interior though… which was basically the exact same spec/colour as this one:

It’s a slightly scruffy example that he’s in the process of refurbishing (he has another one he’s already done too). he described the conversion as functional, but ...
