1950s London, yes - are you commening on the suitability of a picture of London in a market town in the Midlands?

Re: Rolf Harris

We have an old stable at the front of it - most of the units are lodges which are more spacious but I like the character of ours. That's not where the photo shows though; that's our second office in Stourbridge. Manchester is certainly a much more vibrant commercial centre than Stafford but it would...

Re: Rolf Harris

Is that a stash of kitchen rolls in the fireplace (presumably toilet rolls were in the middle and they were used up more quickly)? London ?! I think you need to view the photo on a bigger screen  Dinny, if a client recognises it as a Rolf Harris then I'm sure they'll have the same view of it a...

Re: Rolf Harris

Can you tell what it is yet?

Yes, it's a nice Rolf painting of London which I found over the weekend. Goes really well in the meeting room at the office. Was not expensive but it's a lovely picture and you have to separate the art from the artist.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

Oops. That could have resulted in a significantly nastier outcome. :? #47 just jumps up and heads off again after riding over the top of her rival - no need to check - I'm sure she's fine ;) https://twitter.com/F3Alsace/status/1789577543659483447 That is appalling. For a team car to hit a competing...

Re: Where to get (decent quality) impact driver bits?

1. 1/4" bits wouldn't fit the end of the driver - the female end suit 5/16". 2. No idea. The beauty of the mechanical driver is that you turning it whilst driving the bit hard into the fixing - so you very rarely have any skipping issues. 1. Obviously - I was more thinking you need to mov...

Re: Where to get (decent quality) impact driver bits?

If an electrical impact driver can copy with 1/4" bits, does the mechanical impact driver really need 5/16" bits or is that simply to withstand the smacking with a hammer? Any idea what sort of torque you can achieve with a mechanical impact driver and how they compare? ETA: Teng are a nam...

Re: Where to get (decent quality) impact driver bits?

The electrical impact driver is hex too, isn’t it? The difference being that the bits specifically for that are longer with indents to be held in the chuck. While they’d still fit your impact driver they’ll be longer so I can see why you’d prefer not to use them. The short bits are quite common aren...

I’ll forgive you for the EV video Barry, but isn’t that the gimp who thinks he’s faster than Lewis Hamilton but keeps crashing other people’s cars? So I won’t watch his content.

Re: The Weather Thread.

I went out and was disappointed that it wasn’t fully dark yet. Only when I got my phone out did I realise what I could actually see. HDR photos must be what makes it so obvious on camera.

Saves a winter trip to Norway - quite a spectacle.

It’s a lot more visible on a camera but still visible to the naked eye here.

Dell did email me straight away. I’m not overly concerned because the data that was available is limited and I’m not an idiot. Bit poor though.

Looking at the location on Streetview, the side road is not at the right angle anyway so he wouldn't have been able to simply go up there: https://maps.app.goo.gl/cC99QfvZw6XYBypL7 I see he used the dropped kerb for the short cycle lane to good effect; hitting a kerb may have launched him far earlie...
