Re: Woman

Did you meet your current partner through dating apps? Yes, on Tinder. I think it’s quite an honest app, or at least it was in 2017 - you both like each other’s photo and short bio enough to allow you to message each other. Basically like real life except widening your social circle. I suspect 7 ye...

Re: Car for a new driver

Is there any difference at all between Aygo, C1 and 107? All the same car built in the same factory. Something like a Fiat Panda must be worth considering.

Re: Woman

Anyway, to contradict everyone else I'd say this is a great opportunity to stay the fcuk away from wasting hours on dating apps and instead to selfishly focus on making your own life as fun, adventurous and brilliant as possible. Dating apps are purgatory and an easy way to waste loads of time and ...

Q: Why do women wear makeup and perfume ?

A: Because they’re ugly & they smell.
I always liked that joke but when I shared it with my wife she didn’t find it funny. No idea why 😂

Re: HMRC Automated Phone System

Twice a year HMRC decide to change my tax code for no obvious reason. Pretty consistently. I get my accountant to do my tax return and they can’t see a reason. I don’t bother calling them to sort it out because it will either be fixed when my tax return is submitted or when they send the next random...

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

I listened to The Wild Ones podcast (which is about cycling) yesterday and they were talking to Cycling Mikey. Mikey seems a really nice guy in reality, despite the image he has gained from his Twitter videos.

AWD would not be a mechanical link between the wheels on a Tesla surely?

Sorry to hear it Ian ☹️
No matter how much it feels crap, I’m sure it will ultimately be better than you getting married and her doing the same some years down the line. That’s no consolation I know.

Get swiping on Tinder - onwards and upwards. Or maybe apply to Love Island/Married At First Sight.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

So many cycle lanes round the UK have been marked like that for decades - even in very cycle-friendly cities like Oxford - that you’d hope motorists understand them by now. I’m usually more pro-bike in this thread but if they were altered to give cyclists a wider lane and motorised vehicles a narrow...

Re: Decent car YouTubes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzpbgbxScaE I obviously had to watch that straight away. I haven't had any C6 generation A6s because I don't like them but I've had C5 S6 saloon, a couple of C7 Allroads and a C8 S6 so I'm obviously a bit of a fan. Never noticed the structural rigidity of the C5 bein...

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

That Land Rover would have been a bit close to the parked cars if there wasn't a cyclist in the gap - look at where his left hand tyres are relative to the centre line as he is alongside the Qashqai.

Is that bare strip on the tree to the right of the first pic where the rear quarter panel/windscreen impacted? Ouch.

Having scaffolding up, it must be so tempting to inspect and do any other little exterior jobs at the same time.

Ferrari Pure Blood on the A456 near Halesowen. Not nearly as interesting a shape on the road as it looked in photos; it is a fussy, slightly too long SUV which visually offers little or nothing over a Urus, Eletre or Cupra Formentor to my eyes. Shame; it looked really interesting in Harry M's video ...

Got to be a light colour, which basically means Nimbus Grey.

Re: Test drive report

It really works better on lighter colours to me - that does look good. Fuck paying £85k - I might be tempted when they are 45-50k though. Can't disagree with that. I reckon a sub-2000 miler will be in the sub-£60k bracket before long, then people will realise they're worth it and prices will firm u...

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

First one of those, the taxi is legally stopped but with reversing lights on, and then opens his door into the cyclist's path. So the cyclist has reason to feel aggrieved. But nobody hurt anyone and the 'Dutch reach' nonsense is fucking idiotic; cyclists are told to cycle further from stopped traffi...

The rumours were that it’d have 600bhp. Obviously not. Still plenty quick enough. Does it need a separate launch to the regular and long range Highland facelift?
