Re: Your fleet running reports

Has that been fully diagnosed yet Scott? I would certainly be looking to the selling dealer to cover the repair cost, obviously.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Is that picture of a wheel post-refurb? Surely they would hand it over clean?!

Yeah, I appreciate it's for a different type of surface but it's semi-related.

Re: Monoblock sealant

I have a lot less mortar/grout/whatever left between my patio slabs and drive blocks after jet washing a couple of times. I took note of this video when I saw it - 11 months old apparently, so nearly a year ago - and thought it would be a heck of a lot of work to do it properly myself. So I haven't:...

Re: Today’s want

i prefer the 350 wheels! But they were 350 wheels and therefore give away the fact you don’t have a V8 ☹️ I wouldn’t go for an R230 SL. A work colleague had one from new and the top made slight noises when up. And a folding hard top is difficult to keep watertight as it ages. I remember plenty of p...

Re: Petrol Honda mowers

Honda HRH536 end of term report. I realised a week or so ago that I was unlikely ever to use it and it was taking up space in the garage. Plus it’s so solidly made, bashing yourself on the handle is painful. So I called the dealer I bought it from and they’d have bought it back but suggested I adver...

Re: For the FTAO of JL

What's on your van? I noticed you have scrubbed out the plate in photos so it must be embarrassing.

I like having a private plate - so much easier when you use a parking app for instance.

Is there a more tenuous or crap private plate which is actually possible to work out logically than this?
”M1OWK is going on it. Meow, ok?”

Ooh, catty

At least it's short which is why I bought it.

Re: Randomness

In Chemistry at school I tested a sample of every experiment result by putting it on the back page of my exercise book. Generally most of them made the paper absorbent like blotting paper. I definitely did not lick them.

Re: For the FTAO of JL

I followed a VW Up GTI this morning, a 71 plate. Took me a while to work out that it was a private reg. https://www.number1plates.com/shop/media/regplate/composite/6847e36e49db6.png At first I remembered that an X prefix with the post-2001 plate style is not a geographic identifier so it was probabl...

Re: Elon Musk/Tesla

People are going to have to get used to not warning traffic of incidents ahead because Teslas don't see them. Tragic situation. I said on a PH thread about that incident that it seems Tesla's FSD does not have as part of its programming, "Always be able to stop in the distance you can see".

Looks lovely, and nice to see one in an Individual colour too.

From the spotted thread it looks like you may have gone over to NI to collect?
