That looks pretty decent and Facom are a good brand, aren’t they?
What’s the red pedal-type thing behind the lifting handle? Foot operated release?

Re: The Weather Thread.
I went out and was disappointed that it wasn’t fully dark yet. Only when I got my phone out did I realise what I could actually see. HDR photos must be what makes it so obvious on camera.

Re: The Weather Thread.
It’s a lot more visible on a camera but still visible to the naked eye here.

Re: Dell users - take note
Dell did email me straight away. I’m not overly concerned because the data that was available is limited and I’m not an idiot. Bit poor though.

Re: The Motorbikerist Thread
Looking at the location on Streetview, the side road is not at the right angle anyway so he wouldn't have been able to simply go up there: https://maps.app.goo.gl/cC99QfvZw6XYBypL7 I see he used the dropped kerb for the short cycle lane to good effect; hitting a kerb may have launched him far earlie...

Blimey. In the slow-mo I thought he was going to go up the side road; I guess it was blocked with barriers though. Lucky but ouch.

He has his and her 911s and a lovely house. He now just buys and sells on dips and rises. And earns an incredibly good salary from that alone, high hundreds of thousands. Etherium and a few others that I forgot. I can probably find a few people who make a living from horse racing too - but whatever...

Near the office I'm not in today - will have to see if any of my colleagues can see the plume of smoke. Fortunately we're about 6 miles away.

Re: Evo magazine
I was worried when I saw the title of this thread! :D It was announced earlier this year. https://forums.ov9.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=201827#p201827 Jobbo being the first response to that post made me me lol And me now you’ve pointed that out 😂 It was only today that they emailed about it. A change in...

Evo magazine
Not dead, but it's changed owner again. Carwow has bought it. Er. Not sure whether this is a good or bad thing; Carwow has no magazine but Evo is about far more than drag races and discounted new cars.

BMW rocker cover leaks seem to be as consistent as full moons. Yeah, it's either that or the oil filter housing gasket, they seem to be evergreen pain points on BMW six pot lumps. The cam cover gasket can be cheaper at BMW dealers - my old BMW indie replaced one (or possibly two) for me and I ended...

What it's worth? A bloody fortune probably! I had a Luke Skywalker from the original film but it's long gone. I'm not sure it would have been worth the full whack with a chewed lightsabre anyway

Re: Your fleet running reports
My Audi did a full automatic emergency stop while I was away in Anglesey at the weekend. It was at a traffic light controlled crossroads where there was a car coming towards me slowly, indicating to turn, so I started to edge forward as I was turning right across him. My car must have thought there ...

It's not full jobbo (never go full jobbo, at least not with your own money), but how do we feel about the reddish brown dash top & carpet ? I imagine you will dismiss any input from me anyway, but I don't think there are any bad colour combos in a Range Rover. Even the slightly more extravagant...
