I'm sorry to say that even Mercedes seem to use a tea cup for their tea break alert:

It may be that's how they serve their Jagermeister in Germany of course.

Re: The Motorbikerist Thread

In his sporting "prime" at the time - he was 41 which surely is getting towards the end of a career in bike racing? It's more physical than F1 driving isn't it? Also, if the crash was 6 years ago I think he's way out of time to start court proceedings. The limitation period for personal i...

Ah, I thought your wife being a bit younger than mine wouldn't have got near it yet. I feel for you; probably only another 10 years of it to live through then!

Re: Your fleet running reports

Would it have been an option or part of an extended leather (or similar) package? Does sound a bit stingy given what it would have cost new. I thought the Autobiography had the full leather as standard. But if the headlining is alcantara and the pillars aren't that's just weird. Porsche charge you ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Actually it’s interesting to compare to the Bentley. I was slightly surprised that the a-pillars in the RR are just coloured plastic. The Bentley has leather, it’s leather *everywhere*. Yours is an Autobiography isn’t it? I thought that would mean alcantara headlining and pillars at least. The RRS ...

What Rich said. Everything he accused the scaffolder of being (murderer etc) I’d assume he’s perfectly capable of in cold blood.

Re: Menopause is now a disability (UK)

My missus has this habit of starting conversations with (talks at me) me when I'm texting someone (as in I'm midway through typing a 1st/2nd reply - mid conversation) , then flips out when I open the next text and read it because I'm ignoring her and not interested in what she's saying. Not sure th...

Re: New Merc C63 AMG

The CLE is half E-class and has space under the bonnet for bigger engines. So doesn’t really say anything about the C63.

I have various different saddles on my bikes. One of the least comfy looks the comfiest (Brompton). All depends on the rider I think. And wear shorts with a pad.

What Ian said though I don’t follow his symbols. There are two possibilities: Anne is either married or unmarried. If she is unmarried then Jack looking at her meets the criterion. If she is married then her looking at George meets it. So either way someone married is looking at someone unmarried, j...

The House of Lords was the predecessor to the Supreme Court as the highest court in the U.K. And is visible in that picture. Perfectly justifiable for a law firm 😄

Re: Rolf Harris

We have an old stable at the front of it - most of the units are lodges which are more spacious but I like the character of ours. That's not where the photo shows though; that's our second office in Stourbridge. Manchester is certainly a much more vibrant commercial centre than Stafford but it would...
