Re: Alfa Milano Jr.

They could have called it the MiPo (Milan-Poland) or the MiTy (Milan-Tychy).

Re: Motorway Mile Munchers

That's rather lovely - the description he gave you does not do it justice.

Re: “Black Edition”

Definitely a good value option - I’m not sure if the facelift 957 was hobbled with silver as standard but it looked abysmal.

Re: “Black Edition”

Nah, mine has the black trim, it’s either anodised or coated, not sure, but it’s certainly not an “edition”. Probably a very expensive option  I don't recall there being a 'Black Edition' Cayenne either (or any Porsche to be honest). I think manufacturers realised that they were losing sales t...

Re: “Black Edition”

That’s Cayenne Turbo has black trim round the windows - isn’t that quite rare?

My S6 is a black edition. Until the 2023 models the black editions came with chrome Audi rings. They finally went for black rings for mine. I quite like them.

I drove past an EQA yesterday which had a Q plate. Wonder what caused that? It looked fairly new.

Blimey, I looked for that plate years ago. It was on an E39 520i at the time I think. No connection to me sadly; but good to know it’s actually been spotted.

Re: Jobbo interior

That’s a colour I’d not seen before. Previously I’d have said I wanted a purple interior Final Edition but that is possibly even better. Though not the steering wheel, as ever.

Is it the front grille which people hate (justifiably) or other parts?

Actually, is it just a rebadged Peugeot 208?

Re: Test drive report

Did you manage to book a slot for an Emira drive @Jobbo ? Birmingham Lotus hasn't come back to me yet but I've not got time to go and drive one at the moment so I'll chase them when I have. mik By coincidence they emailed around the time I posted. Test driving it on Thursday. Just been reading the ...

Re: Parking space widths

If you're genuinely interested, it's similar in character to both, but not as good sounding as either. It feels as quick as the e92 and has that same ability to spin up the rears when using the upper rev range that makes M cars fun. The MDM mode on the e92 was better than the M1/2 modes on the M2, ...

Coincidentally I was send this yesterday: https://www.brightwells.com/timed-sale/5605/lot/689569?returnUrl=%2ftimed-sale%2f5605%3fpage%3d5 Brightwells is not the usual sort of place you'd find a 996 Turbo for auction. Might be cheap. Hit £25k, did not meet reserve. If anyone wants to know what the ...

They don't make sense but that is the fun. And if you do it in a Smart that's more of a challenge so the feeling of accomplishment will be greater.

If that isn't a feature, I really hope someone hacks it to make it so.

Re: Parking space widths

Having owned the two cars in question for 5 and 4 years each, I'm inclined to value my opinion over someone who hasn't. (I'm only talking about the respective M3s, I don't care about the lesser models). The e46 is a fantastic car, if mine hadn't been driven into, chances are I'd still have it and l...
