Re: Your fleet running reports
With the amount of farm mud on the roads today, a Dakar would have been a very appropriate choice here in the shires. Envious! Was that what caused the sideways moment? On a roundabout so not necessarily - I could feel it was slick so gave it some more throttle to find out how little grip. Not much...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Any way to raise it up a little so it's more flush with the bumper? I gave it a good wiggle and it would just hit the bumper at its highest, so not with the standard exhaust hangers. I do plan to get a small black diffuser/valance of some sort because the bumper looks slightly bare. Had a nice conv...

Harry has acknowledged the lack of MOT on the Countach in the PH thread - with an oops.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Washed the MX5 after getting back from Devon. I thought it would be sufficiently clean but it was a bit dusty and you could tell the alloys were more matte than they should be with brake dust. So I was quite pleased to see how easily water is wiped off the wrap with a blade. Also good to go round an...

Access looks a bit of an issue with the non-tipping front seats
Next trick: fitting rear seats to a GT3 RS with the cage.

None wants to hear about a £5k Suzuki where there are Dakars and F12s to be spoken of. Puncture repair failed. Ended up replacing a pair of tyres as I didn't want odd ones across the axle. Got some of these. https://www.blackcircles.com/catalogue/yokohama/advan-fleva-v701/195/45/r17/w/85/m?tyre=381...

I doubt they will sell many S65 AMGs. It’s a bit stupid and it’s not as if the V12 previous generation ones sold in great numbers.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Oh wow, I’m more envious of a Dakar than a Targa! And I loved the Targa…
I hope you got a good deal. I’ve had a long discussion with a rural dwelling friend about a Dakar. He thinks the Dakar should be an optional trim level on any 911 and I can see exactly why. But I don’t think Porsche will do it.

I bought some Wiim kit, Ian, which does the job fine and with plenty of connectivity options. I don’t trust Sonos now after their firmware and app fuck-up.

Monthly is probably sensible for you Gav. For solicitors it’s not something most clients are used to - generally (for transactions) you bill on completion.

Re: For the FAO of stereoists
That’s really interesting - thanks Jim. I was tempted by the outgoing NR1200 but it’s not sufficiently cheaper to get the old model. Might bite the bullet and order one at £649 then.
