Re: Trump guilty

Has he written any critical pieces on the fact that the Labour figures are likely not realistic (geniune question)? Sometime the pieces you don't write say as much as the ones you do. I'm not saying he's horribly partisan by the way but he raises the bar by saying he is not at all biased . Everyone...

Re: Trump guilty

Rayner has been exonerated by HMRC and Dan Neidle has been backing Jeremy Hunt today. I’d say he’s very much unbiased. VAT is a big issue for him - not the law relating to it, but the policy because it always seems to have unintended effects, enriching the merchant when it is cut instead of benefiti...

Spotted S500 LWB on a Merc GLA over the weekend. Wonder if the owner used to have one and downsized.

It's Carwow, what were you expecting? I'm more intrigued that Merc don't seem to have sent out any press cars at all. Do they not want to sell them?

Re: New Merc C63 AMG

First new C63 video I've seen was released on Carwow this weekend. The other two cars are on a 23 plate so at least 8 months old, and the Merc plate is obscured so who knows when it was actually filmed, but I imagine it's current and loaned to them by someone who doesn't want to be identified and no...

Do you tell him what you're in that day, or list the entire collection?

Re: Trump guilty

How does a jury system work where you have a high profile policitican being tried in a state where most of the populace vote for the other side? Would you be happy being tried by a 'jury of your peers' in that instance? I wouldn't. The crimes were done in NY, the trial gets held in NY. Simple as th...

Does Harry keep any of his new cars long term? Seems to move them on after a few years. Yes, he does keep many of them very long term. Do you not watch Harry’s Garage? Jag XJC, Elan, 500, Countach, Testarossa for starters off the top of my head. No chance he’ll ever sell the Fulvia Zagato either. N...

I assume that would also have been in your Smart, which would not make a 1300 mile road trip more appealing.

Now I live just outside Worcester I can more easily get the different offerings from the Wye Valley Brewery. My absolute favourite ales still, particularly HPA and Butty Bach.

Quite amusing really in a political world full of Nadhim zahawi's £3m tax evading and Michelle Mones £200m dodgy PPE contracts, that the worst they can find is a £3.5k tax mistake 10 years ago... I know the guy that exposed all three and feel that he was trying to show that he was not just anti-tor...

Probably worth a PM Ian - I’m not sure who you are applying to for access but if you’re talking about access having been gained by long use (which is over 20 years) then evidencing it is the big hurdle.

Drop me a line 😃

Not the £50k+ you’d expect of a rally homologation special though. More like the price of an Impreza, but rarer.

That wouldn’t be a bad one if I were buying. Though I’m not sure I could live with the colour of the interior.

I think Harry probably doesn’t consider it a long term keeper compared to things like the Countach so it might not simply be a victim of one-in, one-out.

It's fun that every time a new £40k hot hatch comes out people act surprised at the price, like it's not been the going rate for about 5 years  It's also, as I've been learning when comparing some classes of car to each other twenty years apart, not that far from inflation. IE a Sunny GTI-R, a...

My Fabia left hand indicator still isn't working. My local garage are 90% sure it's the bcm. The hazards work fine, as do the right hand indicators and the main beam controls on the stalk. Here are some videos from when I got back home from the garage and had a play around. The indicators started i...
