Anyone ever fancied a Buick Grand National but doesn’t have £60k?

Re: Oliver Reed (25 year anniversary)

Ah, simpler times. They don't make 'em like that anymore. The armwrestling is just the icing on the cake. Two stories I heard this week from podcasts and books... Duff McKagan when trying to kick his vodka habit switched to wine. 10 bottles a day. And Paul Gascoigne was having a crap game in the fi...

WFH @IanF ?
he'd have to WFR though, I didn't see a home on there?
You can ask one of the crofters if you can crash on the couch when you’re home.

Re: Tony Martin Pt2

Based on decades old experience admittedly but you’re more likely to see a sawn off shotgun in a random country scumbag’s house than your average urban young team member’s.

I’m generally not for shooting people but if you go into someone’s house unannounced, then you get what you get.

I’d move somewhere up north on the coast and I’d rather saw my own leg off than move to the south east, so I’m not much help here

Re: Bye bye Sturgeon

He’s going to be around til the election, the resignation was to stop the votes of no confidence.

Genuinely don’t know how that’ll go, the SNP may keep enough of the hardcore nats to technically win but I don’t think they’ll be able to form a government without big concessions to another party.

I’ve always liked the look of the new M2 and the Litchfield mods only make it better.

Had me looking at old 135s on ebay to price up a cheaper version

Nope, he’s fucked.

They’ll never get a majority vote again now that they’ve pissed off the greens.

Judging by the amount of attached tat, the red defender driver is definitely a rural Ronnie Pickering. No, fat from it. He will be an emergency fast responder the first time a snowflake touches the ground. He will bravely park next to deep puddles, ambers flashing, a beacon of hope in world ending ...

It was kind of to both of you.

I’m not sure how you’ve concluded that clearly any rule changes will favour workers though.

You can’t even see that you’re falling into that “well surely they won’t punish the “genuine” claimants” fallacy.

Every single time a government does something like this sick and disabled people end up getting hurt.

There’s no way that a supermarket (for example) is going to accept a situation where anyone can sign themselves off.

For most service jobs not producing a sick note for any absence longer than three days is a disciplinary offence.
