A guy from my work has been banging on about these for months but I assumed it was another piece of UK automotive vaporware.
I really like it. Would have for cutting about my estate if I become landed gentry.

Re: Wales 20mph limit
While the evoke absolutely is a cunts car, it only weights 1800kg and is shorter than a lot of normal cars so a pretty poor example to use…

Re: That there London
Levels of shitholeness are weird. The Abbey Farm estate in Thetford is notorious around here for being a dump, in the top 10 most deprived places in England, yet street view it and it looks fine. I lived in the midlands for several years through uni and drove through plenty of far more threatening ...

I've had to walk from Kings Cross to Fitzroy Square. A 30 minute walk.
6 Ambulances on lights and siren calls.
4 separate fire engines.
5 police cars
An obnoxious group of flag waving degenerates shouting at people.
It seems to be getting worse and worse every time I come here, it's ...

Re: Today’s want
Life would be boring if we all agreed
I wouldn’t disagree that there are more ruined RRSs than (what I would consider) good ones. I think that with the right spec they’re nice though.
Image doesn’t bother me as I’m scum anyway

Re: Today’s want
I think that mid 00s era (disco 3, early L322 RR and RR sport) was a high water mark for LR design wise. They’re all a bit overstyled now imo.

Aye, I just posted the first one I found with the diesel V8 and sensible wheels
Shame that it’s too old for the 4.4 V8 afaik.

Re: Today’s want
Saw an original RR sport yesterday and it confirmed what I’d always thought, that they would age well.
Something like this seems positively understated compared to more modern LR products.

Most of what was around it would’ve been fibreglass or fabric tbf.Rich B wrote: Mon Oct 06, 2025 1:41 pm i presume the “box” behind the roll bars (they’re the seat backs looking again) is the fuel tank? that looks remarkably “whole” compared to everything around it!
Re: A Toast
Just make toasties in a frying pan. Far less faff.
I don’t really eat toast with anything but peanut butter but it’s a liberal coating of that with a wee sprinkle of salt.

Re: The Music Thread
Just on my way home from Atreyu. Was really just going because I was invited but it was a decent show and nicely nostalgic of the metalcore times.
Got tickets for Bob Vylan in Nov and Metallica next year but nothing else lined up.
Keep missing Kneecap tickets.

Re: Eurovision (ND)
I’ve got a bridge to sell anyone who thinks Eurovision isn’t political
The country boycotting eurovision while we’re still charging protestors for the same cause with terrorism seems a bit daft tbh.
