Aye, I’ve heard that’s good. I never get round to watching it though.

I’m looking forward to seeing what Cavill has going on though. He seems like a big enough dork, with enough industry clout to do it right.

So the story I heard was that the first draft of the script was pretty much an Alien knock off, so Anderson and the screenwriter rewrote it using elements of 40k then polished the direct references back out because the license was too expensive.

Don’t know how much of that is embellishment though ...

Has anyone watched From ? I've heard people say it's kind of like Lost which is obviously not necessarily a slam-dunk depending on your view of that show.

Been watching a rise of the nazis/ww2 doc on netflix and while this isn’t new information, the tactics Hitler and his gang used to grab power is pretty much a play by play for MAGA.

When you see it laid out step by step, it’s kind of shocking how brazen it is.

I would still like to see Event Horizon as the Warhammer 40k movie that Paul WS Anderson originally envisioned.

It’s a hell of a movie as it stands though.

Also, whoever invented the aeropress must have absolutely minted it over the years. £35 for a 4-part injection mould is crazy money, the profit margin on that is wild. I'm sure they've spent a lot of cash defending the patent etc, which is due to expire next year so expect cheap knock-offs to ...
