Re: The Property Thread

Middle of nowhere, but this looks like an amazing setup with the greenhouses, garage, pond and land. I'd be converting that pond into a swimming pond tout de suite.

We’ve been an oat milk household for years as my partner is lactose intolerant.

The good part of living in a tenement is that the bin men deal with all the bins and put them back.

The bad part is they noise they make on a saturday morning doing that

TBF the Juke has never been a looker and it’s at least interesting.

Better effort than their badge engineered Micra imo.

Re: Mountain Biking general thread

I’ve broken 3 small bones since I started commuting by bike

Speaking of, two years of daily use and lax maintenance is biting me just now. My bike’s spent more time on the work stand than its wheels this year.

Been using those rental ebikes in the meantime and I don’t like them tbh.

The ...

Re: Today’s want

My unique sense of style would push me to a current 7 series if I was spending that much tbh. Modern lux cars are so quiet and efficient that the big engine seems kind of pointless when you get the same performance from an I6 hybrid system.

In other news I’ve been trying to convince a mate to buy a ...

I’d be surprised if the ceasefire lasts more than a few days tbh.

Israel hasn’t stopped bombing Lebanon.

Been going into work a bit earlier last week to train someone and passed a McLaren GT on a couple of days.

Must be one of McLaren’s rarer production cars. I’ve only ever seen a couple.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread

I saw a mk5 R32 yesterday.

Someone on the southside of Glasgow appears to be dailying a 68 Fastback Mustang in Bullitt correct Forest Green.

Been a bunch of pictures floating around and it’s passed me twice.

Looks tiny in modern traffic. Also needs a better exhaust/lumpier cam.

My problem with that reasoning is all they gained was another Mandelson related embarrassment.

Personally I would rather no one in my government was close personal friends with a monstrous paedophile who ran social engineering experiments for his own gain.

Re: Bye bye Starmer

That “well he’s from the same cesspit as the people he’s going to be working with” argument always felt like justification after the fact tbh.

Also shines a big light on the truth that everyone knew he was a danger and gave him a high paying civil service job anyway.
