Re: Ann Widecombe

I don’t know, a lot of her views on human rights were pretty abhorrent.

I think she was one of those conservatives who managed to hide how nasty her politics were behind her bluster. Like Boris.

Re: Does anyone have a good politician ?

Our local MP is useless, Labour guy called Gordon McKee. I emailed him about a few things and got crickets back. Seems to spend most of his time trying to boost his profile down in that London.

Our MSP is lovely though, a Green called Holly Bruce. Very engaged on local issues.

Oh I agree completely on the silliness of it, yet before there were still some people about who were an opposition with some substance. Now no-one else is able to compete.

It's nothing to be proud of imo especially if you live in the area.

We should be better.

Because they spent a decade weeding out anyone who doesn’t go along with the centre right sensibles.

Streeting would’ve run but he was apparently bought off with the chancellor’s job. Not that he’d be any good in either role, he’s basically just a pile of private healthcare lobby money under a ...

Apparently it was this house, which he was regularly using for photos about ten years ago.

Another line of bullshit from a cunt.

Re: World Cup 2026

Look I’m not going to convince you Zed but if you are at all interested, do a little reading and you’ll see City are guilty (but “on appeal”) of the worst financial doping in the history of English and probably World football

For example…

Sign Roberto Mancini as manager but agree to pay him ...

Re: World Cup 2026

Chelsea, Everton and Leicester have been found guilty of spending too much on players and have taken their punishment.

Man City have had 115 charges over them for a number of years. Have been found guilty, appealed delayed, appealed and no doubt, WHEN they are found guilty again, they’ll try to ...
