Re: Randomness
That made me look at engine configurations again and it quickly got silly. Straight-fourteen sir ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straight-fourteen_engine The only straight-14 engine known to reach production is part of the Wärtsilä-Sulzer RTA96-C family of 6-cylinder to 14-cylinder two-stroke marine...

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
It’s not far from here, I’ve not seen the Delta parked there before but the resident is an obvious Italian car perv, that’s a Fiat Coupe peeking in on the right, and choosing matching yellow for whatever the thing is on the left is a strong move.

Re: Your fleet running reports
The only real solution is a no tag no start or a ghost. Ghost is still CAN bus based though ? So although it's very clever it's only a matter of time before it gets hacked - as long as criminals can physically tap into the CAN bus wiring it's open to exploitation. I was thinking yesterday a mechani...

Re: Your fleet running reports
obs I wouldn't want it back if it was fucked. But a straight stolen and recovered with no damage/cost, no problem! Point is, you don't get a choice, and you don't know in advance what will happen when it gets stolen. If it's fucked but repairable without being written off it'll get repaired and giv...

Re: Randomness
Not sure why they don't only use a list of professional sites and online encyclopaedias to train it. Because who chooses which sites are OK ? It's censorship and whatever you do, whatever sites get blocked, someone will bleat about it being unfair and political and propaganda. You need a totally in...

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Will it get away with those arches for the road? They barely cover the wheels. No need to worry, it will not be an issue. It's a wildly ambitious concept car that will never go into production cf: the new Griffith etc. Sniff Petrol August 2006: https://sniffpetrol.com/archive/BritSupercarForm.gif h...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Having said all that, I do find myself drawn to wanting a tracker. Something like this looks reasonable - £60 for the unit then £60/year subscription.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I probably wouldn’t want the car back, it just wouldn’t be the same. However I’d like the people caught. Probably wouldn’t pay £260 a year for a miniscule chance of that happening though 😂 I never really understood this concept, if I could have it back without cost then I'd happily have my car back...
