Re: Tesla Cyberpuke

Saw a clip of someone arguing that the hurricanes were controlled by the government's weather machines... Not sure if it's the same clip you watched, but as Zed pointed out, Marge here has been pushing this. She's a member of Congress. She's also talked about Jewish space lasers in the past. She's ...

Re: The ebay thread

I nearly put this in the "want" thread but it's not a car so here we are. My wife has recently started learning to play the organ (she's the talented musical one in the family, already adept on piano, flute, saxophone) and doing some idle googling came across this. It's awesome, it looks l...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I went to Basingstoke (“amazingstoke”) to pick up some chairs for gavster. Just after leaving to come home the Disco had a spazz attack about the ABS. Disco lights 8-)

It’s what sells. We’re old and poor and not the target market.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Disco has an MOT. I don’t think we can claim flying colours as the ns brake light has stopped working and there’s a grinding noise from the osr when turning right. It has an MOT.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Disco rear end - Disco booty ? - all back together yesterday after finally getting the correct brake discs  The tracking is miles off though. Not too surprising when I've mucked about with all the wishbones. I'll get it as best I can with string & tape measure then maybe pay to get it fina...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I will say a lot of newer cars feel like they are too softly sprung but have rock solid ARBs. They don’t roll much but feel like crap in the corners and rock forwards and back too much when gently accelerating/braking. That is exactly how my RR felt. Cornered flat but pitched back & forth, and ...

"Have the windscreen, wiring etc. 90% there ready to be bolted together" At first I read this as "90% ready" and assumed the zero exists only as a typo. :? I now realise that he only has 90% of the parts that would needed to complete it..... Do not want. :geek: And by the usual ...

I’m even wondering if I need a spare chassis. Just in case. Seems cheap enough and from talking to my neighbour who has a 90, Land Rover regard the chassis as a consumable.

In my experience foot wavey isn't the way to go. A reasonably fast in & out without any dawdling usually provides the most satisfying result. Finbar Saunders would have a field day with this post. :? I love Finbarr Saunders. Or rather Mr Gimlett, who never gets any of the credit. IMG_2306.jpeg

It would make a whole lot of sense. You’ll get a fully checked-over car to your spec that’s 100% ready to go with 100% backup.

Re: Your fleet running reports

I feel like I'm at risk of going native with the Disco. I'm looking at massive roof racks & winch bumpers even though I have absolutely no need for either. Maybe I'll just start with a split charge system and an inverter. Just a little bit. That wouldn't hurt, would it ? Scene boy! Touché !
