Re: Your fleet running reports

Locking wheels replaced with normal nuts on the Yeti, following my thread a few weeks ago. It's not worth risking a problem with the key failing TBH so glad they're gone.

Merc battery replaced with a like for like Varta from Tayna. Exceptional service as expected. Ordered yesterday, arrives this ...

M&S, Co-Op, Harrods and JLR all have their IT provision via Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). All companies were hit by the same cyber group. I'm not suggesting there is a pattern here, obviously.

I've a lot of sympathy for the workers and the affected 3rd party suppliers - however the fact that ...

This whole debacle affecting my neighbourhood made me realise how corrupt the government can be, how they will happily make up statistics to fit their agenda and that they really don't value the opinions of residents at all.

Oh, sweet summer child. Have you just realised this now ...

Re: The House Projects Thread

I was thinking of doing the same, and adding a door open alarm/monitor for inside the house as the shed is in the side alley and the kids keep opening it and leaving it open, then it rains and soaks everything.

Any ideas?

You don't think not paying the correct tax on a house purchase isn't a resigning matter for the housing minister?

Oh by the way, whenever I imagine a south US voice talking about the 2A I always then hear in my head that clip from Jim Jefferies where he mocks the same...

"You can't change the second amendment".

It literally is an amendment. Of course you can change it.

He believed empathy was a bad thing, and he publicly stated that a few gun deaths a year were worth it for the right to bear arms. So respecting his own beliefs I will not give a shit about his passing.

Yeah, this. 'A few deaths are worth it as a cost of the 2A'.

Your wish is granted.

Apparently killed the head negotiator for Hamas, so will give Bibi another excuse to continue the war and blame Hamas when the hostages aren't freed.

Have we all turned into grumpy old men?

I watched it the other day and enjoyed it. Sure, Harry is levering his circle to boost his viewers but he didn't put Clarkson directly in the video title and there's some interesting chat in there. I didn't even know Clarkson's daily was an F Type for ...

Quick Rome review...

It is an utterly beautiful city with unbelievable views around every corner. I don't think I've been anywhere like it to be honest. The history, the age of the place, the people.

The visit - we gave it a week and still didn't see everything we wanted to. I think there's ...

I think between now and then we'll have the benefit of seeing the full destruction of America with Trumps policies, and the next US election, before ours. Hopefully that should shine a light of what might be in store with Farage. Also hopefully things will have improved here a bit by then.

As for ...

Contrary to what you may expect I feel very sorry for her. She's badly fucked up and her salary has now dropped down to the standard MP's pay of 95k and she has a 650k mortgage with NatWest which will be c. 4k pcm. Her income has dropped from c 8k to a little over 5k a month so she has a mortgage ...

Can I just say, even with 'advice' etc, (and similarly if you employ an accountant or tax specialist for your returns) the onus on maintaining integrity and honesty in your affairs always falls upon you, not the person 'advising' you. After all, you may get a very different answer from your adviser ...
