Re: Bye Bye Boris!

I'm an optimist (although I have to keep telling myself I am  ) so I think it will squeak through. I think there's a chance that enough members of the opposition will get teh fear, given many EU representatives comments about not wanting an extension. Both Govt and EU fingers are ready to star...

Re: Bye Bye Boris!

I think it'll squeak through most likely, as I detect a shifting of mode to just get this stage done.

But whatever the result it's gonna me mighty close.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Small warning with regards to connected cars if anyone is buying a used one do a factory reset on it. I can still use my BMW app to check the i3’s location, unlock the doors, make it preheat and drain the battery as well as other things. To a far less extent, my cars sat-nav/infotainment was still ...

It's just the Occupy dickheads again, isn't it?

Re: Climate change protestors

It's a nonsense isn't it? For XR to be successful they need to take the public with them, and stopping the working class people of East London from using electrified mass transit to get to work is not going to engender them to anyone. I was also reading that XR's claims go far beyond the IPCC's own...

Re: Google phones.

This isn't meant to be a iPhone is better kind of question, but all the apps on my iPhone XS use the face unlock when required. Banking, apple pay etc. Does Android not offer that or is it the actual apps lagging behind on android? Like Apple there'll be an API to hook into for face auth. The probl...

Re: Google phones.

No fingerprint reader. Whilst I was initially fine with this, and the face unlock is really well implemented, I have a number of apps that use Fingerprint login and are gonna take ages to catch up - my banking app, credit card app, share trading app, etc etc. All these are gonna take ages to catch ...

Re: Google phones.

So I've gone all in, and like 3 years ago ordered a (4) XL 128GB in black. Should be with me in 2 weeks. I also qualify for a free HP Chromebook too, which is nice (or will get sold on ebay - we'll see).

Re: Google phones.

They do tend to overlap new and "existing" phones for a while. Note Google can be quite shitty with model support and new Android OS's, I think they only guarantee 2 years? Still, I got a brand new Pixel 3a for £280 (after cashback and selling the Chromebook I got with it) and I'm more than pleased...

I can't ever imagine sinking my own hard-earned into a Tesla when their QC is like that. It'd have to be a rental for me.

It doesn't sound bad, just incredibly dull.

What an unexciting car.
