Picked up yesterday for the boys first car. https://twitter.com/touringthecars/status/1780733627686322646?s=46&t=SUoANWv2-_o1W4X4vHqmfw Dacia Sandero. 66 plate with only 35k on it. 1.2 ambience so group 2 insurance. Drives really well. Everything is tight. No knocks or bangs. Should do the job.

Re: Viewing a Car - POLL

Yes, but are they going to break into 7 houses looking for the key to your car? Like I said, it just makes it more effort for them and they tend to go for the easiest option

Re: Viewing a Car - POLL

It’s just another level of effort that a potential thief has to employ and, as they tend to go for the easiest option, I can understand why people would do that.

Re: Car Hire Lottery

Not sure if this car is broken, my 740d was pretty much the same engine with a higher tune in a bigger car and would do 40+ for the same journey, even my 550 will do between 17 and 20 mpg, even in traffic. https://i.ibb.co/g6x0vDB/IMG-0699.jpg Hire car innit.. also, I’ve always thought you can get ...

The number of countries in the world which have an unsanctioned uranium enrichment program and a fleet of Tomcats is ...1. Re: Lotus Emira

35000 Elises were produced over 25 years, just over 6500 Evoras over 11 years, and they sold 3500 Emiras last year with a target of 6000 this year.. should certainly be more choices second hand, not so confident about future values

Re: Car Hire Lottery

Surely the Golf just applied the auto parking brake which you could manually release? I’ve had (hire) cars that won’t select gear if door open.. Bizarrely, on my last car hire (above) there was a button on the key fob that when pressed twice started the engine! I was out the car with a crew member ...

Re: Car Hire Lottery

I recently returned from Tampa, took the opportunity to hire a muscle car*.. Dodge Challenger R/T with a Hemi V8. No gpf (or CAT ?) on US vehicles so sounded like what God (Bless America) meant it to sound! 🤠😎

*makes 375hp from a 5.7L or 6.1L or 6.4L depending on year

Re: Smartwatches

Do you wear your watch while asleep? I take mine off every night so just sticking the Apple Watch on the charger by the bed is quite natural. Yes, I took part in a fatigue study a few years back and find monitoring my sleep patterns very informative, especially with crossing time zones and overnigh...

Re: Smartwatches

Started using an Apple watch occasionally and the battery life is shocking. I'm used to a Garmin that lasts for weeks at a time between charges  Yeah, it really is rubbish! 😂 I still use one though as I use fitness+ and “it just works” etc. I find it best to charge whilst getting ready in the ...

Maybe on Android, but Apple is: The existing “Allow While Using App” option will grant location permissions to users in the foreground just as it has in the past. However, if an app’s developers have additionally requested that the app track background location, then selecting this option will addit...

Surely the Guinness in Uganda and also in Ghana comes from the Breweries in Ghana (where all of Africa’s Guinness is made) ;) Mates Dad was head of Quality Control at James Gate (worked his was up from Bottle washer) - O Connors was his opinion.
