Re: Motorway Mile Munchers

XJ-L? I like the colour combo. Train and turns in the rear on the way home sounds like the right choice

Re: Dangerous beers...

Surely the Guinness in Uganda and also in Ghana comes from the Breweries in Ghana (where all of Africa’s Guinness is made) ;) Mates Dad was head of Quality Control at James Gate (worked his was up from Bottle washer) - O Connors was his opinion. But you’re right about the lines - shorter the lines ...

Re: Dangerous beers...

I’ve always a case or two of Brewdog, some Moretti for guests and some Brewdog Speedbird/Lost beers from work. However, I mostly enjoy Guiness and as the pub three doors down from me won the best Guiness award by the brewery, I typically just wander into there when thirsty. £6.70 a pint though these...

Re: And then there was none..

Classic car club has closed down and the first page of Autovivendi made me want to shiver! 😂 Currently driving a Dodge Challenger R/T 392 cu Hemi V8 (5.7L in oourpeean): sounds fantastic, but only makes 375hp! 😂 I don’t know how the Americans do it! Hopefully this dry spell will be short lived 🤞 IMG...

And then there was none..

For the first time since I was 17, I find myself without a single car to my name.. it’s a strange feeling tbh. This unusual position has come about due the combination of a possible move abroad, a current lack of off road parking and a desire to purchase an additional property.. I hire cars or Uber ...

A trip to Italy can only be done in one of SJ’s cars surely?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread

No HUD option on a Tesla.. elec Mini has a hud and shares platform (or something) with the Ora funky cat, so not really surprising the Chinese style interior. I’m interested to see how AR overtakes HUD with BMW (and Merc?) offering it on their newest cars Yes, am interested to see what the next-gen...

Elec Mini has a hud and shares platform (or something) with the Ora funky cat, so not really surprising the Chinese style interior. What?! Is it made in China now? I thought it was similar to the funky cat… BMW aren’t exactly amateurs in the EV world, surprised that they’ve teamed up with Ora which...

Re: Decent Recent TV

Oh yeah, nano fibres reminds me: What if he held the records of the conversation in line with the fibre? The whole notion that slicing the ship to pieces was the best way to recover that information was ludicrous, probably one of the absolute weakest parts of the whole show. That was my favourite b...

Re: Why are road trips so alluring?

A road trip in a nice GT car or a £500 banger for charity can be fulfilling (in very different ways!), but to drive a Smart to Italy doesn’t fall into either category for me! 😁

Re: The ebay thread

https://www.carandclassic.com/auctions/1991-bmw-e30-325ix-estate-gOpO5n I haven't noticed the "pre-bids" note previously - not sure what the benefit of submitting one would be for the buyer (?). What are pre-bids? A pre-bid means you're able to place a bid before the official start of the...
