Re: The House Projects Thread
Work started today. Scaffold went up this morning, and early afternoon the builder showed up, starting to mark out what needs cutting out. https://gallery.ov9.co.uk/images/2024/04/24/20240424_172623.jpg He's started on the cutting. So far he's not found anything horrendous, fingers crossed that con...

E36 - IMG_2851.jpeg Also the Jaconeli F1 drove by me near the Gloucester Rd on Thursday and sounded great (I was in my car on a teams call, so couldn’t take a photo) on the way to Salon Prive I assume, where I was meant to be but got caught up with client meetings. I went on Friday, was a fun, low ...

Are they massively signal boosting literal neo Nazis? No? Oh. do shut up Bean, that was a quality come back from Nut...

Re: For the FTAO of JL
Kind of related.. Edward Lovett on Collecting Cars podcast was stopped by police recently as he didn’t have a front number plate on. The police told him he better hope this is the first time he’s been stopped as for a second offence the dvla will now reclaim your (typically private and bought a big ...

In related news the Fiat 500 has been killed off due the same cyber vulnerabilities.. but don’t despair! Fiat is now going to put a petrol engine in the 500e which is typical leftfield Italian thinking

Re: Apple Vision Pro
They were pushing these quite hard in an Apple Store in the US. I asked if there were any games out for it yet and they said no, just productivity apps.. think that’s the first time they’ve had to push selling a new Apple product

How many gallons of oil did your car use? Still a good looking car, shame Jag have lost their way
Re: BBQs
I’m in the market for a decent quality Charcoal BBQ but the choices are really limited. There are the ceramic types, well north of a grand and you’ve got your Webber’s (but I already have one of those) An absolute must have feature is a coal rack or a cooking rack that’s height adjustable but as I ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Just passed 10k in the Kuga, averaged 81.7 MPG overall since I've had it, no creaks, rattles or issues, it's been a superb car, I'd certainly recommend one as a family car. Massive boot, loads of space in the car, great seats, stereo, and it even manages to be quite fun to drive. If I ordered again...

Re: Test drive report
I don’t want to type a TL:DR on my phone but we test drove a VW ID Buzz today and it was fabulous. But it doesn’t fit under the arch to our drive. That’s the very nice salesman doing the reflectoporn. I’ll write a bit more about it when I’m less cream-crackered. But I loved it. I'm confused - isn't...

Re: Test drive report
Agree with RichB; it’s good someone is not just making an SUV etc.. Subjectively, it is a good looking car, and I hope they go for wafting GT as opposed to max attack road legal race car, and the doors opening that way work much better with our stupid parking bay sizes(but let’s not go there again!)...

Re: Test drive report
Sat in a dark red 1st Edition yesterday and it is very nice although seats were a bit flat and there’s a weird bolt/hole on the front of the gearstick that I would find annoying.. maybe a quick fix though. Handily there was a row of Aston, Porsche, Lotus (and Auto vivendi).. so went straight from th...
