Re: Decent car YouTubes

This was an interesting watch (at least, if a passing interest in the RS). I've also been watching the follow up with Rickaaaaayyyy from REPerformance. Mad how difficult parts are to get now, but no suprise given the rarity....can't help feeling that's the real reason the guy left it to rot. Doesn't...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Little Up passed the MOT...unfortuantely needs new brake pads at the next service after only 65,000 miles :( Also insurance is due. Turns out, I forgot to remove the QV, so was shocked at the renewal price of £900*....after I removed it, £360, which is cheaper than last year, and cheaper than any re...

Re: Prepping. Not the nut job type...

As mentioned, I don't think having a weeks worth of food on hand is a bad thing regardless. Catastrophising is something that's been running through my mind a bit recently, what with all the doom and gloom in the news, but I don't think we're any closer to anything that would cause life changing eve...

Looks like a great trip 8-) One of those things I've always thought about and wanted to do, but never motivated enough to put it into action.

Re: How far would you go to help the Police?

All of the above. As for the no lights numpties they're sadly in plenty supply down here. Good for you for trying to do the right thing, and frustrating being faced by incompetence. I'm nominating you for an OV9 Gold Star ( @Matty can you please award?) and will mention you in despatches. Wasn't co...

Re: Ross Scott's stopkillinggames.com campaign

I've seen some of that Pirate Software channels stuff before. Usually informative, but he clearly had a massive ego problem just from watching his shorts. I still remember how he said he refused to watch Mr Robot as they had "stolen" content from another security professional.....except th...

Re: FTAO anyone that ever posts videos of their driving

I was always told there should be a very slight bend in the elbow with the hands at the top of the wheel.

Which is how I drive, cause it's the coolest innit. Other hand free to scratch, tickle, drink, vape.

Re: Your fleet running reports

R5e alarm went off at 12.18am last night, waking me up again. I’ll be deactivating it as a matter of course every night for now but I need to get it to Renault. Apparently the alarm is fitted when it arrives in the U.K. is that common these days? Every car I’ve owned for maybe 20 years with an alar...

Re: GTA 6

Apparently no PC support evar :/ If true, first console purchase in a long time? :? I would honestly be amazed if they didn't eventually release it for PC - they said the same for GTAV and then released it as the "enhanced" version on PC 18 months later. It's double dip for them. All the ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I looked at Lithium batteries when (I thought) mine had died on the 4C - lots of other had done it; but the cost, lifespan (short and longterm) plus the need for a specific charger meant it wasn't worth the investment, IMO....maybe if you're desperately chasing weight reduction across the board? i t...

Re: Your fleet running reports

i think my Elise needs new battery - i’ve tried the recondition mode on the CteK few times now and i think it’s beyond saving. It wouldn’t start today without the ctek plugged in and the rev counter is struggling to read right. they only seem to be about £50 or so, so i might as well get a new one ...
