Re: Lotus Emira
Briefly peaked at 99 Emira's for sale on AT over the weekend apparently. Also, quote from SELOC "Out with a friend who buys and sells to the trade, he just bought a 22 Emira with just under 8k miles for 53500. So potentially under £50k by summer for sure." Jobbo like I said, rock s...

Re: Viewing a Car - POLL
Seems pointless. If I was going to nick it, I'd just drive down and either find it parked on the drive, as a postcode is a fairly small geographic area, or I'd say "OK, I'm here" and get you to send the house number and not turn up anyway.

Would that not increase the cabin noise quite a lot? I would have thought headlining plays a big part in it.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 8:08 am My headlining is exactly the same, not got around to doing anything about it. Seriously tempted to just strip the foam and paint it black.

Re: Decent Recent TV
I get that creating shows based on games is difficult - you have to appeal to the existing fanbase, who know the characters, their motivations, the story and the lore, and also appeal to people who either don't know or aren't interested in where the shows roots are. For shows like The Last of Us, it...

Shared platform based on "e-CMP2" so Wikipedia tells me, like the 208, Mokka, DS3 and the "Dongfeng"
It's partly the looks, plus the Alfa-nerds don't like them jumping on the SUV bangwagon and following the money.

Re: Jobbo interior
I love an S8, and the Final Edition can fetch serious money. This looks cheap, although it's got a few miles. Then I saw the interior.

Who signed this off?
They're getting mauled on socials. The Tonale sold about 6 cars (I've never seen on the road) so I expect this to sell at least 9 cars.

Re: Decent Recent TV
The trailer looked good for Fallout... fingers crossed... I've seen 1.5 episodes and it's suprisingly good - few mates who've never played the games have said how much they enjoyed it too. Colour me suprised, from the trailers I expected it to be poor. Someone make a Mass Effect TV show! (although ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Yikes  Question is, if you took it to a specialist, would it still cost £6k? I've been sleuthing around a few EV forums and noticed some high bills for repairs (but not sure out of context they're any worse than ICE), or whether it's just that we don't have the specialist knowledge yet to rep...

Re: Parking space widths
What about us wealthy folk who have cars nearly 2m wide?
Also, one of the bigger issues is morons who just DGAF and park stupid angles, or park offset. I sometimes miss having a banger and parking as close to their drivers door as possible.

Re: Test drive report
I don't think Emira prices will shift much - they certainly haven't recently (within the last 6 months) after their initial tumble. I suspect the Evora's strong prices are propping them up somewhat. How long that continues is another question - base Evora's have been at 25k for the last 10 years (!)...

State of the Roads
It's just unbelievable at this point. I know it's always bad after winter, but every winter seems to be progressively worse with little improvement. Even worse after heavy rain when they're hidden under puddles. I suspect it'll continue to get worse over the years...we all need to go back to 15"...

Re: Ross Scott's stopkillinggames.com campaign
Their arguement has always been that you never really "own" a game or movie if you read the T&C's And it's fairly rare shutting down servers impacting games - in most cases they usually patch out the online requirement. Ubisoft and EA are notorious for being cunts with this though, so ...

Bullet bitten Haha - go big or go home 8-) PSVR2 will get official compatibility with the PC toward the end of the year too, which is nice. It's a great headset. What’s it like wearing VR headsets with glasses? It's OK - there's room between eyes and VR lenses, but I kept having the issue where my ...
