Re: Test drive report
Well dealer cars are now at £64k so you'd easily get private examples under £60k on the basis the p/x is mid-50's and no doubt they'll keep sliding.
Re: EV Thread
I'm still on the Honda-E forum, and even the fanboys ("I only had to stop 4 times to get to my destination! It's part of the adventure!") are warning people about some of the expensive faults that can occur and the warranty being essential (repeated door handle failures (£1k at dealer), s...
Re: EV Thread
I'd still be concerned about the deprecaition on the Buzz. Cheapest is £45k at the moment at 18 months old. Like the conversation before there still a massive :?: for me about costs to repair some of these cars, so I'd be really interested to see what the Buzz would retail for after 3 years once the...

102 Emira's on AT now....so you're not lost for choice that's for sure.
I'd have to *really* love a car to start scraping away my drive to make it fit !Explosive Newt wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 4:41 pm Can you re-lay the (presumably concrete) floor 20mm lower with entry/exit ramps?

Re: Your fleet running reports
£250 sounds like a good deal, got to be at least cost neutral after selling the 2bular. Deffo. The unit had never been on a car. Worth retrying the 2bular after 'fixing' it? Just in case? I know they're not cheap - but I had my eyes opened to switchable exhausts on the Alfa. Problem is that quiets ...

Re: Test drive report
Sorry Duncs - it isn’t curved but I don’t really know what to call it. The estate agent referred to it as a breezeway 😂 Matt, I haven’t won the lottery and I’m not terminally ill if that’s what you were referring to. The Buzz was a bit of a folly; my wife liked the look of it but I expected I’d fin...

Re: Test drive report
I really like the Buzz, and I've started to see a few about - especially in the commercial van style. I thought they were bringing a bigger battery version out? My boiler service bloke wanted one, as he's a big VW fan, but said the range wasn't enough for his daily duties. He said it didn't fit unde...

Re: Test drive report
I don’t want to type a TL:DR on my phone but we test drove a VW ID Buzz today and it was fabulous. But it doesn’t fit under the arch to our drive. That’s the very nice salesman doing the reflectoporn. I’ll write a bit more about it when I’m less cream-crackered. But I loved it. I'm confused - isn't...

Re: Lotus Emira
Briefly peaked at 99 Emira's for sale on AT over the weekend apparently. Also, quote from SELOC "Out with a friend who buys and sells to the trade, he just bought a 22 Emira with just under 8k miles for 53500. So potentially under £50k by summer for sure." Jobbo like I said, rock s...

Re: Viewing a Car - POLL
Seems pointless. If I was going to nick it, I'd just drive down and either find it parked on the drive, as a postcode is a fairly small geographic area, or I'd say "OK, I'm here" and get you to send the house number and not turn up anyway.

Would that not increase the cabin noise quite a lot? I would have thought headlining plays a big part in it.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 8:08 am My headlining is exactly the same, not got around to doing anything about it. Seriously tempted to just strip the foam and paint it black.

Re: Decent Recent TV
I get that creating shows based on games is difficult - you have to appeal to the existing fanbase, who know the characters, their motivations, the story and the lore, and also appeal to people who either don't know or aren't interested in where the shows roots are. For shows like The Last of Us, it...

Shared platform based on "e-CMP2" so Wikipedia tells me, like the 208, Mokka, DS3 and the "Dongfeng"
It's partly the looks, plus the Alfa-nerds don't like them jumping on the SUV bangwagon and following the money.

I love an S8, and the Final Edition can fetch serious money. This looks cheap, although it's got a few miles. Then I saw the interior.
