I could only choose from independents who've paid out for access to the central database
Why does it need to be in the central database?

And £600 for a basic A-service? Sweet jesus, and here's me thinking McSwede's BMW quote was bad.

I know ScottA has a similar problem earlier this week.
I've been trying to ban him for ages....

Re: Posting from a mobile network

There were 3 specific IP addresses on the banned list, so you must have been really unlucky to get one of those. Or I'd banned you in the past and couldn't remember why  Either way, I've removed them.

What? I’m agreeing with you.

People who want to argue pennies rather than just chipping in an amount to cover the whole thing are a waste of time.
The problem is people who take the piss, know you're splitting the bill so intentionally order more expensive things than they normally would.

It really is superb fun. More people should get into stuff like this.
What's the risk of damage? Is it the kind of thing more designed for cars you're not fussed about in terms of damage and/or those with higher ground clearance?

This afternoon's musings have been for the Lexus LC500. Ticks all my boxes - just started to dip below £50k so still quite pricey. Probably tag it alongside the ISF as a car I really really like but always end up buying something else when faced with the decision. They sound freaking awesome too. F...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Rich B I never usually bother test driving cars TBH. I need at least a week to settle in before I can decide if I like a car or not...so I just roll the dice. 80% of the time, it works every time. The seats in the GTi are identical - except for the pattern - as the base car. They're not uncomfortab...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Up GTi....UPdate. Still not convinced. Maybe my expectations were inflated due to EVO's ratings, and some Twitter people like Autopap and Jackal bigging them up, but it's not working for me. From a practical standpoint, it makes alot of sense for a daily (small, economical, plenty quick enough) but ...

It's probably been mentioned already Nef, but get yourself a VR headset - not sure how good PSVR is, but there's some decent games about for it.

Totally transforms things for seated racing. Next level stuff.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Tedious car update The mini failed its MOT on a knackered flexi pipe. I'd already had to change all four tyres and with a service, it's been a bit of a pricey month. On the plus side, it's in rude health. Now it's sorted, I'm planning what to spend my bonus on... Jimmy this weekend: https://pbs.twi...

Scifi+Space+RPG normally has me snorting straight from the bag, but this just didn't do it for me for some reason in the end. I liked it initially, but it never really got out of first gear. The ship seemed like wasted potential, your crew were all pretty dull and most of their stories didn't really...

Re: Disney +

Apparently there is a conflict of contracts with Disney and Sky, or something along those lines, so they can't bring Disney+ over here until it expires, which is early next year.

People are going to pirate the shit out of it....
