Yeah, I blocked a bunch of bots/scrapers of whatever they are they are these days so it'll be a bit quicker.
As for logout, must be an Apple thing. Also, if you're accessing the site via a shortcut/bookmark, make sure it's set to "https://forums.ov9.co.uk" and not just "ov9.co.uk" with either ...

I have never once had leather seats that were....slippy. Is he a particularly greasy fella?Beany wrote: Sun Jul 19, 2026 6:53 pm Would they fit in an R53 (or whatever the supercharged ones are) MINI? Neighbour is after new seats and he's not a fan of leather because it's slippy.

Re: The House Projects Thread
Still no idea why anyone would go through this much hassle - them, I mean - originally over letting a surveyor in? Crazy. Must be a huge relief.
Finally! The relief must be off the scale
Have you been in the flat yet?
I went in there earlier. It's grim, hard to believe anyone was living in ...

Elises are always a gold mine of things lost things - usually under the seats, though. Tyre weld in the arch is a new one, but as pictures, must has slipped down.
It's about as useful in that arch as it is in actually 'fixing' a tyre to be honest

Re: FAO Coffee snobs
Is it like the tea drinkers who say they can tell when a kettle has been boiled twice ?
Dave!
I love deliberately making tea with the milk first and watching them not tell the fucking difference and getting a “good cup of tea that” in for the bargain
They're being polite. I suspect "Good ...

Re: FAO Coffee snobs
I get all my coffee from White Rose in Yorkshire, they have an amazing selection of single origin coffees from around the world that are amazing value compared to most of the cool roasters in London. I buy 2kg of beans every month or so. It’s a small no-nonsense business and I’ve probably ordered ...

Lots of conversation about beans, but I need some links!
My daily, reasonably priced go-to is usually Taylors, but also found some of M&S stuff to be good as well.

Re: Constantly getting logged out on mobile
Cleared all website data and happened again straight away. Also noticed not going to last post viewed when clicking the red symbol next to the thread, just opening at the start, getting me confused for a while trying to remember if rich b actually still had his e92 or not
I never use that ...

Re: Constantly getting logged out on mobile
Not seen any performance hits - most of those issues tend to be transient when we get hammered by bots. I'm not sure why this place gets so much traffic. Currently, 805 "guests" online and we peaked at 5000 not to long back. In contrast, the Lupo forum sits around 100-150.

I can't drink instant coffee now. It tastes like coffee flavoured water, rather than actual coffee
Actual coffee snobbery.

Re: Jury Duty
Well, I don't know what you did @Jobbo but I've just been released, and I'm not needed again. The security officer did wink at me as I left, whatever that means.
Re: Jury Duty
Have you been released early yet?
Not yet. Sitting here counting ceiling tiles, still yet to get on a case. Don't you know people in law? Can't you pull some strings to get me out?

Don’t know how much of that is embellishment though tbh. I just really want a good 40k movie
You can definitely see the influence.

A couple of times I've been called up and I've just written my own letter explaining I'm a self employed contractor, happy to be considered at a another time but can't due to client commitments and nobody else to do it, financial loss etc. Been accepted every time.
I know they oversubscribe like ...
