Re: Green Laning report

Great. Spring is OK with me because the 90 is a bit draughty in winter (canvas top) :D

Re: Green Laning report

Thread resurrection. Simon I would be interested in a green lane adventure in my 90 next time you're out and about. My local lane (Ridgeway) has been truncated by HS2.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Thanks guys. I originally wanted black or grey with a red interior for an E46, but this one came up on eBay in Aberdeen about 7 years ago with 39k on it. I was watching it at £9k with a few days to run and thought no way I'll be able to afford that but with an hour to go it was still at £9k... an ho...

Re: Harry’s Garage

That was an interesting video, the first GT3 he didn't want to own, eek. It did look properly unruly on that B-road to Charlbury though  It would be interesting to know how much difference tyres or geo would make. I am undecided on his XJC rebuild, specifically the colour. It just seems way t...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Bosch > PIAA

IMO

PIAAs never really worked on the M3. Yet new Bosch wipers on the M3, Audi and Pug have been flawless.

Re: The lawn mower thread

Thread resurrection. I inherited a John Deere LR something or other ride on. It had seen better days and was er, slightly hazardous: https://i.ibb.co/HHQsJfD/IMG-20170709-151712.jpg Amazingly it still ran fine like that, although a lot of clippings were lost to atmosphere :D Anyway I rattle-canned a...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Haven't done a fleet report since the old old forum probably, so here goes, youngest first: '12 Peugeot Ion Also the most recent purchase, has become my daily for all the crappy short journeys. I was looking at importing a Mitsubishi i or i-miev from Japan but this popped up on eBay cheap. On a good...

Re: Today’s want

I like the look of that Landie too. Will definitely look to pick one up for the house on the croft for tooling around with dogs and sheep in the back. I have a 90 soft top of the same vintage and ex-MOD patina. Hardly ever use it, so when I do the shock of its glorified tractorness hits hard! A 4.0...

Re: Question

I know where you're coming from but I think you can always appreciate "fitness for purpose" and the whole EV revolution means they can be better than ICE cars in the right use case / environment, e.g. city commuter. I would not want one for long or unpredictable journeys or to go for a B-r...
