Re: How far would you go to help the Police?
To answer the question - I wouldn't have done any of that!
Only time I came across something similar on the m11, smackhead weaving from lane 1 to 3 and back again to block us overtaking, I just sped up and disappeared.
Bless you for the social responsibility though.

Re: First Cars - Insurance
Hi, my 17yo is taking on his gran's C1. Seen a few mentions of learner/provisional insurance, looks like the way to go. Veygo are quoting £37 a month - about right or more shopping around to do?

No need to wipe of you don't want to. Presuming you have a microsoft account linked to windows activation? Just ensure you know the address and password.

Re: Your fleet running reports
It's just a starter...rock the car back and forth as hard as you can, with it in gear. If the starter is accessible give it a good smack with a soft face hammer (or a hammer with a rag). You might be blowing a load of money for no reason.

Re: Employment query
At my old place there were wholesale redundo's in 2017 where 3 months pilon was paid tax-free. Top payout was about 23k iirc, so well under the 30k limit. No-one got investigated.

Private number plate
Thinking of an xmas gift. This a 'new' style plate rather than a true private plate. A few sites offer the service at ~300 plus the 80 squid fee. Is this a rip-off or pretty standard?

Still on Islay and have purchased a property here. Love the place and the family continue to thrive for the most part. Work is not brilliant but realistically it's good money and there's not a great deal else IT-wise here - most of the other distilleries do not have on-site IT. '24 I'll try to build ...
