Re: £10k buy vs ~£300 pcm lease
15-16 plate Superb 2.0 SE L Exec. £30 road tax, 190bhp, car play, adaptive cruise..
I keep toying with changing mine but it's great for motorway slogs, taxiing kids and carrying a decent amount of crap.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Macan has come up with a 'change brake pads' warning. My Audi brake pads were about 10% worn at the service I had recently (around 32k miles). So she's obviously queen of the late brakers. Makes me a bit concerned how quickly she'll get through pads on the Cayenne; does anyone know if pads for cera...

Re: Car Hire Lottery
Tucson 1.6t, actually better than expected after having a hybrid variant before.
No adaptive cruise but otherwise well screwed together. Not sure if I'd pay 20k+ for one mind. Lane assist is shat and can't find a way to turn it off. Nobs better than this touch screen nonsense.

Re: Today’s want
Watched a new tube channel called Dadcars on the Ferrari FF. It has confirmed my lust and that they are a bargain at a mere 100k. Agree they're good value... HOWEVER... the PTUs for the 4WD all fail eventually and are a 20k bill. Ferrari PowerPlus warranty is £5k p.a. There's talk that some special...

At over 40k the road tax is mental. Surely it's got to be affecting sales.

Re: State of the Roads
I went to Wales on holiday last week. The roads were excellent and 500k buys a lot of house.
Obv there is less work but given I work remotely most of the time it is very tempting.

There does appear to be a lot of opposition and permits have yet to be granted but why is this stuff not more wider spread on the news. It's much more interesting and important than the 'stuff' that makes it on the box.

I was reading https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c728ven2v9eo yesterday and it's frightening. Leave it alone, it reminds me of Avatar

Massive want, even the lower 2.0t veloce (280bhp) appeals. I believe a lot of the kit minus the engine is shared.
Re: Goodwood
I used to go on a Thursday every year for a meet up with old mates and have a few beers but as highlighted, it used to be free/ reasonably priced. Neither are true so we've binned it off.

Re: Bye bye Starmer
I thought they just steal small boats from the many various harbours in the region. Regardless, if you have a whole gang network it isn’t beyond anyone’s ability to go a bit further afield to buy/steal one. From the videos seen - maybe propaganda, they all look new. A quick Google: Where do the boa...
