Stirling's birthday

Apologies if this has had a mention already, but if we can have a Geoff Boycott thread I thought it worth a mention that Sir Stirling Moss is 90 today. Happy birthday to you sir. :)

What don't you have to moan about, Broccers?

Re: Porsche Taycan first drive - Fully Charged

It’s pulling over 9G under acceleration and 8G under braking according to the graphic. Units are important Bro. 9g of acceleration breaks the sound barrier in under four seconds. ;) 9m/s² is bit saner. Indeed. 9G would be accelerating 9 times faster than if you just dropped it out of a plane. 9G wo...

Rely on the queen to do what? Not take the advice of the Privy counselors and make a separate determination - that is a constitutional crisis.

Re: 2020 LR Defender

The Internet will piss and moan about it. We’ll hear from everyone with a vague interest in cars saying they should’ve done this, or shouldn’t have done that, how it’s not a “real” Defender (mostly from people who never drove a “real” Defender. And despite all this, they’ll sell as many as they can...

Wigan is the only place I've seen and bought a pie butty. Yes, pie inside a bap/barm/roll. Was nice too.

My bet would be the extra overrider is hiding damage, probably reversed into a lamppost so instead of fixing a dent just bolt that over the top
I think it's a weight distribution thing, to balance out the weight of that steering wheel. :D

Re: Fiat 850 sedan thread

I'm starting to slightly fall in love with this little motor. I remember them being a relatively common sight on UK roads, and the very pretty 850 coupe version added a little affordable glamour to the urban landscape too. Please keep us informed as it progresses.

You all seem to be panicking a little early in my experience. I was 40 twenty five years ago and still haven't had the sneeze/shit experience yet. What am I doing wrong?

When LH's car was stuck in the pits there was one particular mechanic who was running around like a headless chicken looking for wheels, I think in the end he didn't successfully bring one to the car.
I felt sure he'd appear with a space saver eventually. :D

I quite like the look of the exterior, and as it's mid-engined I suppose an RHD version might not be out of the question... If new Mustang sales over here compared with any previous iteration that was LHD only are anything to go by, it might happen. Here's hoping, as I'm getting depressed with conti...
