Re: Your fleet running reports

Am I the only one here that doesnt want the garage yet kid covering my car in swirls?

Is correct. Porsche always ask and I politely decline, as I enjoy doing it myself.

I should hope at £250+/hour labour rates on servicing they have proper detailers for their cleaning!

But would they ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I curbed a rear wheel on the Porsche earlier on today. Needless to say I'm distraught, and my evening plans involve beer curry and wine... Mind you, come to think of it they would have done anyway. ;)

I pass my Evo/Car/Classic and Sportscar on to a couple of teenage lads a few doors away. They are struggling to buy noisier exhaust systems for their hatchbacks currently. (I vaguely remember that stage).

Re: It's Highway Robbery, innit

Talking petrol, Esso seems generally cheaper in Derbyshire where I live. It's also claims to be 99 octane when other (more expensive) fuels claim 97 octane. If I don't get 99 octane I feel like I'm buying my car Prosecco when I know that Champagne exits! :o

Am I the only one who thinks the 911 is totally unsuited to being made into a drop top? The proportions are all wrong. :(

At 72 I resemble that remark, but my car is Miami Blue. ;)

Hi guys, I've got a Submariner with the date. I never knew I'd made such a fool of myself. Must consult you more in future.
I drive a Cayman GTS 4.0 currently. Should I torch that to save further embarrassment?

Re: Lotus Emira

Porsche have just done Lotus a massive favour by discontinuing the 718 this week.

Heres the Lotus Emira i would have and keep the £12k change.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Not my fleet but a friend has just taken delivery of a 2-year old Cayman GTS and is very pleased with it, other than finding it too noisy. He is apparently going to remove the door cards and put some form of sound deadening inside.

I'm skeptical but it's his motor.

I'm currently on a Cayman ...

I bet if you saw one parked next to a late 1960's Elan in Gold Leaf colours you'd know which was the best looking. ;)

Our local ATS did a repair and didn't want to charge, the manager suggesting we just buy 'the lad' a beer. Top blokes. 8-)

Re: Puncture.

The missus has a slow puncture in the left rear of her Abarth 595. A repair is £33 and a new tyre is £133. What does the team recommend?
