Re: Your fleet running reports

Family member has a RR Sport SVR which averaged 38 mpg from Kent to Devon and back 2 weeks ago. Big engines don’t drink much when on the move. When I played fuel station roulette in my GT3 the other week, the onboard computer showed a theoretical range of 480+ miles, so almost 35mpg. In reality, II...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Weekend visit to silverstone for the Walter Hays Trophy with the race team. Was deliberating between taking the M240i or the 3 Series. decided to go with the M240i despite it probably going to use a load of fuel..Wait What..! That’s quite something; with decent average speed too! What is it 340+ bh...

Re: Baggy Boxsters

Rev's place in Reading have got this Boxster atm, 2003 3.2S: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274076351829 That’s nice that. I like the colour. Sports seats would be better but not a deal breaker. MOT history looks ok also; not driven much in the last few years though and probably need new exhausts. What...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Played the ‘fuel warning light’ game in the GT3 today.

Ended up putting in 62.9L of fuel in a 64L tank.

I quite like the idea of chopping and changing a load of sub £5k interesting cars. It would just be the selling that I could not be bothered with.

Has anyone experience of the TT quattro Sport 240 in particular?

Can't see them going down in value but are the running costs large?
I’m a fan of these. I think they look superb still and those Recaros would fit in my posh beetle very nicely.

Proper Porsche warranty at £600 a year is really reasonable.
