Re: 3 kids - isofix

I guess this is the problem - in an ideal world we don't want to move away from a 4x4 - high seating position etc and now we are based in Manchester I like having 4wd when it does inevitably snow. The mrs won't consider seatbelt fixtures as isofix is categorically safer so that's that. Can't say its...

Re: 3 kids - isofix

Oh, I had assumed it had three ! My Touareg had Isofix in the front passenger seat. Put the largest kid in the front and your missus can sit in the middle of the rear seat. See how she likes that ! that'd actually be perfect as she boob feeds. means not stopping every 10 minutes with a ne...

Re: 3 kids - isofix

4.5 and 2.5, eldest is big and for most clothes is in 7/8 :D so i suspect his current seat won't last him till he's 12 as suggested.

Re: 3 kids - isofix

This is the problem.

Our mk1 xc90 has been a workhorse, and despite the 3rd row, still only has 2 ISOFIX. FFS.

new XC90 doesnt seem to have more points either.
Obs the mrs has decreed that isofix is the safety standard, as thats what we've had for the first 2.

3 kids - isofix

Hi folks, long time reader, no often poster  probably more a post for mumsnet but well.... we have 2 kids and the mighty L322 is fabulous, if not expensive. regardless, our kids are young and will trash anything 'nice and new' :D (at least thats the excuse i've told myself) No 3 on the way and ...

Re: The House Projects Thread

Having watched my old man go through mesothelioma cancer caused by asbestosis i would suggest that paying someone else to remove anything is a worthwhile investment.

He moved it in the 60s/70s when health and safety wasnt relevant.

Re: L322 or Disco 3??

We have a 3.6 TDV8. It's great, but if you can stretch budget then get the 4.4, it's just better. 3.6 remaps to about 320hp by all accounts and doesn;t have dpf woes. I bought at the bottom of the market as our kids are young (4 and 2) and will ruin something nice :D Despite being a rusty old bucket...

Re: Your lockdown purchases.

mik I had tamiya and such as a teenager, this is much easier as its already built but you can upgrade/fix in much the same way. :D batteries and bits have moved on leaps and bounds in that 30 year gap too :D  I'm no officianado and i'd not expect it to compete with 'proper' stuff like traxxas/...

Just ordered a mi band 5 reduced for £19.99 which seems like a bargain for what it does.

Hopefully will work nicely with the new Xiaomi phone. 8-)
