Re: "Always on" or "Always off" button?

Ioniq6 Another lane assist hater here. First few days I left it to see if it was improved over the Niro. Twice it tried to steer me into parked vehicles. It goes off. Speed limit warning - another one that can FRO. Bong for every posted limit change it spots (and some it doesn't) then four bongs to...

Re: combi boilers - what should I know?

My Worcester Bosch is 26yr old (28cdi) and still humming along nicely. It's had a pump, new tank, couple of minor issues. I get a slow drip when its been run and its very cold overnight, otherwise it loses a tiny bit of pressure over a week or two. I just top it up. I don't run it for showers (swapp...

Re: Mental Health

My version of the FI Bucket is to take a breath when stuff piles up and overwhelms, and break things into manageable tasks. Do one task, then move to the next. You'll often find you get through a lot of them without realising. And it needs repeating, everyone is winging it, just that some hide it be...

Re: Harry’s Garage

Following Harry's countach-prep video, I just received a couple of fire safety sticks for our cars. Seem like a good product. https://www.carnoisseur.com/products/details/fire-safety-stick-2-pack-free-safety-hammer https://cdn.ahead4.com/carnoisseur/customer/Products/Fire-Safety-Stick/FSS-50-x2.jpg...

I've only had short runs with my nieces and my ma in the back, but they were too busy enjoying the huge leg room to care, it's like a limo in the back of the 6.

Re: Lego

It's almost time to start making the UCS AT-AT which has been gathering dust for 9 months or so. Only thing is, my OCD is struggling to have learned there's 40 seats inside it and they only give you 5 mini figures. Can I avoid trying to collect snowtroopers to fill the damn thing? There are a coupl...

Re: Car insurance

I've had the Civic renewal offer this week, up £3 to £197 or some daft number. Not sure I can be bothered looking at other quotes.

On related note, white van man reversed into the Ioniq6 last night, so there's that to deal with as well. Fuxxsake.

Looks great yeah, and I'll be interested to see what the Ioniq6 variant comes out like too. 8-) Not seen you mention the Ioniq6 at all Baz. I passed a dark metallic red one with big wheels this week and it looked fantastic, first one I'd seen in the flesh. 3k miles in and its just doing its job wit...

I remember a brief drive of Daves E500 (when Bri owned it) and was impressed with it. Such a cool machine.

Who are you with and what is your experience like? I’m currently with O2 but their coverage has dropped off to next to nothing now. When I took out the contract a couple of years ago I had a full signal in the house, at this moment in time I don’t even have one bar. Looking online there are a lot o...
