Re: Lego
It'll be cool display but I doubt a very interesting build, if that's your thing.

Re: “Black Edition”
BMW Motorrad do "Triple Black", which is wot Tim and myself have with our respective motasickles.
It's black with some grey bits, so not even all black.
And it costs extra

Re: Parking space widths
My Ioniq6 doesn't fit length wise into any parking spaces yet, never mind width. It feels like I'm driving a limo about. Ioniq6 Dimensions: 4,855 mm L x 1,880 mm W x 1,495 mm H UK Parking Guide: "When assessing the area needed for staff and customer parking, it should be noted that the current ...

Re: Bright light, bright light!
Fun fact about motorcycle rear lights, my BMW uses the "indicators" as the rear light (no central main light cluster). Looks odd, confuses people but no-one has run into the back of mine yet..

Re: FTAO EV owners - possible action required before end of March-24
Just picked my new EV up, and this probably explains one of the reasons it's a fairly cheap lease, they'll avoid this tax change

Re: Baltimore Bridge Collision
Pilot usually boards the ship and takes control for leaving/entering port. Word is they had two on board.
As above though, if power goes off you're left with whatever old school methods you can muster, like crash drop anchor.

Re: Baltimore Bridge Collision
My mate left the job a couple years back, diagnosed with Complex PTSD and anxiety. Stressful job that, I do feel for everyone involved. Modern ships are parred down to worrying levels, single screw, no bow thrusters, all in the name of efficiency/emissions. He's had concerns over the automation of s...

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Indeed, a rather pointless machine on the road for sure, I just enjoyed the fact there's still daft people willing to make cars like this. The "basic" SC Atom is plenty quick enough, and usable at least, if fun driving is your aim.
Re: EV Thread
I've not had huge experience with EVs but they were no worse than any other modern car IMO, soft springing, harsh rebound. Both mine had sensible rims/profiles though, the Niro rode pretty well tbh. I'll report back next week when the new one arrives, on its 20s and spray on tyres

Well, that is very interesting.
Re: EV Thread
530 is a phev now as is the merc e300 at 2210kg. I'm not here to argue on the internet just pointing out it's not any heavier than an ICE equivalent. Indeed, it's not light, but for it's spec it's certainly not considered heavy. I'm not looking for EVO driving, just a nice car to waft about in. Gen...

Re: EV Thread
Wouldn't it be great if H was a viable solution at this level. Sadly it just isn't. Related note, I've managed to sign up for another EV seeing as they're all panicking to meet end of year/quartely goals  Not a fully done deal yet but assuming it goes through, I'm getting an Ioniq6 next. RWD si...

To be fair, he didn't intend taking the Lambo on this trip, and we can see why now. Good vid all the same, nice to see some smooth roads and sun tbh!!
