Fond memories of this place, despite how barren it actually was facility wise. Our first track day experiences were here, understeer, oversteer, wombling free

Aye, he misjudges his approach to the bend (perhaps fixating on the camera bike) and is then just hanging on for the ride tbh, there's no skill involved after that point, just pure dumb luck. I see it more than I'd care to mention, folk over biked themselves and can't actually control them when it ...

You can get the intelligent Octopus Tariff can't you as you have a wall charger installed ?

Dave!

I've got the 6kw inverter as I'm hoping to add another 9kwh battery next year (it'll pull 4.5kw on a single battery)

My current Octopus tariff runs to Feb '27 so yeah, will need a fancy new ...

Finally got my Sigenergy setup installed/running this week, 8 PV(3.8kw)/9kwh battery, including the gateway. Nice app too, and while it's only grabbed a kw or two today, it all seems to be running at least. Neat hardware too, stackable/modular battery/inverter kit, gateway wall mounted, and the EV ...

Presumably shouting a crime number down the phone is required?

Gal at work has an R4, same thing but often cheaper deals about. I think it looks cool too.

I'm still side-eyeing ev leasing, hoping something interesting shows up but not rushing at anything just yet. Jazz is doing 55mpg so not a massive ££ at the moment anyway.

Insurance companies in utter cvnts non shocker. My mate just bought two LiteLocks, we've got away with a lot over the years but it's getting worse year on year eh. I'm a lot more picky about where I park/leave my bike these days.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Welcome to the party pal!

I'm trying to be strong and NOT buy anything this month. Lots lined up for Oct mind.. And pondering buying UCS Falcon before its gone ££££

Lego's greatest skill is not making more tires than anyone else, or being exceptionally good at injection moulding. It's being exceptionally well tuned into pop culture of middle aged dipshits with disposable income like us... At this point they might as well release new sets with a friendly joke ...

This'll catch a few bikers out who have friendly arrangements to "fit the legal exhaust for the MOT then remove it when they get home".

I don't care, all mine are legal/OEM spec anyway.

Much want even if I have nowhere to run one

Almost literally did that at supermarket last night. I'm 53. They have a new stand alone HW stand, rather than the usual hanging rail between everything else..

Been looking at roof bars for my Jazz (ultimately for cycle rack) and for "plain" roof like the Jazz has (the clamp grips the roofline, not a slotted fitting) they only recommend 35kgs weight on the roof, and most roofbar sites categorically recommend NO tent boxes on plain roof fitments because of ...

Wot Mik sed. Morons are morons regardless of mode of transport.

I will say, I don't like following a car/van on the bike so instinctively find myself passing them when I get an easy chance.. I do try to pull away before settling back down to cruise mind you, something this lot seemingly don't ...

As discussed in Insta Dan, any time you're up at Oulton let me know, I'll do my damnedest to show up

I've just put deposit on solar/battery install at home, 8pv panels @3.4kw, and 9kwh battery, mostly Sigenergy kit, with the gateway to switch in a power cut. Needs a new consumer unit but that's expected. Will integrate the car charger so I can shunt excess solar to a car if desired.

What Marv said So many road closures lately, quick push along footpath and away we go.. the Dax lets you get away with murder too.

Ironic that my LG TV WiFi board failed right after the warranty, then the Cat5 LAN port got real fussy about cables, so it's been offline ever since. The TV wand is rubbish now but it's staying that way.

The Gullwing is stunning and more than half price at the moment!

Usual places I think, Smyths/Amazon etc
