I've just put deposit on solar/battery install at home, 8pv panels @3.4kw, and 9kwh battery, mostly Sigenergy kit, with the gateway to switch in a power cut. Needs a new consumer unit but that's expected. Will integrate the car charger so I can shunt excess solar to a car if desired.

Ironic that my LG TV WiFi board failed right after the warranty, then the Cat5 LAN port got real fussy about cables, so it's been offline ever since. The TV wand is rubbish now but it's staying that way.

I've done more runs up there on the bike so not a fair comparison really, but I will say you better let us know where/when you'll be (when you finalise details) so we can maybe figure out an rv of some fashion. Even if I'm still rocking the little Jazz :lol:
