Re: Meaty goodness
The Liver King claimed to be natty and he very much wasn’t. I’ve no beef with actors juicing tbh. They aren’t athletes. What they certainly shouldn’t do is sell an app saying they are natural. I’ve also no problem with it, they are doing it for a role and it’s part of their job. The ones denying it...
Re: Bully XL
My SIL brought her Husky Malamute cross over a few years back. A Dogs trust rescue and had her on a harness and extendable lead. First time she trotted off was hilarious

Re: Bully XL
She was doing the right thing for the dog but simply wasn’t able to control it. Keeping dogs away from situations is wrong, they need to get used to them and see them as non scary etc. the problem being when they can’t control the animal physically. Also, was it in a harness ? Unless they are being ...

Re: Meaty goodness
Where is your articles on increased cancer ? The problem with carnivore stuff is that they class red meat in the same category as fast food, even the NHS do. Which is mad considering the chemicals and crap put in fast food and the lack of it in quality red meat. The biggest thing with a diet is it h...

Re: Meaty goodness
Interesting. Like I say it's not for me, the way you describe how you feel after carbs is exactly what happens with me and meat. I feel bloated, sick and if I'm really lucky I'll get the shits. I would be worried about heart health as well tbh. My family don't have a great history with it either, m...

Re: Meaty goodness
I’d like my Triglycerides to come down a bit but otherwise no. All the men in my family have had heart issues or died from heart attacks. All did physical jobs and all had a crap diet. Too many carbs, too much veg oils (fried) and too much processed food. I’m a big believer in your body responds wel...

Re: Meaty goodness
Trust me I ran out of ideas before trying. The wife has better hair, skin, sleeps better, easier to concentrate (she works in insurance from home, so just numbers and tip tapping all day) plus the extra energy, weight loss, never bloated etc. it’s had a bigger difference on her than me. Cholestorol ...
Re: Bully XL
That’s the thing, they were originally bred to be more docile and relaxed. A well socialised bully breed is a great dog for families. These have been ruined by some fuckwits in the U.K. making aggressive dogs that then cant be handled by their owners and it’s showing. Saying it’s by people aren’t us...

Re: Meaty goodness
No pepper
Short ribs for dinner, bacon and duck eggs for breakfast with 250g of mince. I’ll probably have 2 steaks for dinner.
It’s nice not feeling hungry or have any dips, nice steady energy all day.
I did roast potatoes in tallow a couple of weeks back though, that nearly turned me

Re: BBQs
Yep, a lot of places do lean cuts with no marbeling, which imo is a pointless bit of beef to eat by itself, it’s more suited to a stew etc.

This is like Pistonheads, ruining a good thread with an argument unrelated to the topic.

Re: Meaty goodness
Just whenever we are hungry. Sometimes nothing for a day and others eating like we won’t be fed again. No calorie counting, just eat when hungry.

Re: BBQs
Fired up the BBQ yesterday for the first time since Sienna was born. Just threw some Lidl Ribeye on it, and..... not good. TBH, of all the non-butcher meat we've tried, regular Tesco Ribeye is the best we've come across. 100% this. LIDL meat is junk, Morrisons near us is really poor. The only place...

Re: Menopause is now a disability (UK)
Believe this or not, I was at a party back in November and a very pretty early 20s girl asked my wife if she was my date as she wanted to say hi.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Aaaaaaaaaand my second set of actually warped discs, Brembo again but this set had done about 15000 miles. Cleaned them up, no pad transfer, clocked with a DTI and yep, 0.29mm of runout. Decided on genuine discs from Merc, £80 more for discs and pads but runout was 0.02mm and smooth as butter. I did...
Re: Running
Yeah I’d assumed he was doing the junior one  He’s getting some pace as well. PB so far is 30m45. I reckoned a month or so ago that he’ll be under 30 mins by the end of this year. I think I’ll revise that to some time over summer. Amazing given he’s the shortest in his class at 4’, running n...

Re: Menopause is now a disability (UK)
Does that make it less seedy? I'm not saying he has to go on a register or anything, just couldn't imagine dating someone 20 years younger myself. Like, early 20s folk look like kids to me now. Aslong as they act like an adult and are of age I don’t think it’s seedy at all. Whatever makes people ha...
