Re: Today’s want
I don’t think I could do that gen of RR until it’s a bit less desirable to the sticky fingered. I’ve said before but my ideal RR would be a late V8 L322 visually backdated to take all the tacky shiny bits off. The Leg uses his old money RR to go to the stately manor of correctness while wearing a p...

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
I wonder how many people have been killed by Strava ? A load of us used to cycle to work, only 6 miles easy way but you still had to be at work on time. Nobody was chasing times or heart rates though. At what point does your days performance come ahead of basic roadcraft ? Driver definitely at fault...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I fancy a fun project and I’m really impressed by how well it fits in the engine bay of a Boxster. This is the thread…. https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=2015662 Looks like a lot of fun and would be the wife’s convertible. Dave! Normally I’d be sniffy about the idea of droppin...

Re: Your fleet running reports
It's suspension problems a go-go this weekend  Today I had the Bentley up in the air to re-fit the engine undertray that I'd not put back on after doing the oil change a few weeks ago. That went OK but when I tried driving it later on I almost immediately got a red " STOP! VEHICLE TOO LO...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Has something happened to the TT for the engine to be available? Sorry if I missed it. My really, the engine is strong and mechanically its great but the paintwork really lets it down. A bad spray job in the pst and knocks and dings from 180,000 miles of use has made it look quite tatty. I fancy a ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
It will be GT3 fast and unlike the 996 market, which is 15k for some pretty ropey cars then the Boxsters are still affordable. It’s a very cheap way to a genuine 300hp per ton with a little work and I want to tinker. 10K would have a pretty nice one built I think. Will have to see what the kits come...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Yes lol. I've had a trade bid of £18k, retail seems to be 21-22k. I have time so will try and sell it privately for £19,500. It's under warranty, has a service pack for another 2 years, new rear tyres and a glass roof which was a £2k option and really nice to have. They seem to have a bit of a foll...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Excellent choice of fun car. While I’m still waiting for sensible respray prices to happen (very unlikely 😂) I fancy either an E46 M3, evo 5/6, Porsche Boxster to put the Audi engine in or Aston Martin Rapide. RS6 removed from the list due to pain in the arse parts. The list of forum cars people ha...

Jesus christ Dave they look like weapons  hope you've got an industrial-grade pressure washer for a toilet brush.
