Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Good chatting with you Simon, agree that a midlanders curry meet is well overdue.
From memory there were Porsches out in force; quite a few green GT4s and a few 930s, plus a V12 Vantage I’m not 100% sure, but I think it may have been the new 2026 model. There was also a lovely late 80s Brabus S ...

Oh FFS. I just typed a long reply about my experience with JLR products and the forum signed me out when I pressed submit and it’s all gone.
In short - looks good, nice materials, good ride, bad seats, UI annoying, minor niggles, constant fear of catastrophic engine failure .
Because of that ...

Re: Today’s want
Agree that the orange is very marmite, which is a shame as the special edition has a lot of the more desirable upgrades such as better seats and 4 pots.
For that money, Id go for a facelift Homura, newer, lower miles, better colour.

Re: Bye By Farage...
This is my point, budget and strategy is not operational control.
You’re suggesting that because the mayor sets the police budget and priorities, they control individual rape gang investigations?
I’m not a fan of the players or the game, but let’s be realistic about what to get angry about.

Picked up a stone chip at Donington which Autoglass unfortunately turned into a crack attempting the repair, so it’s now awaiting a new windscreen, probably end up with a cheap aftermarket screen, but hopefully I won’t notice the difference.
Other than that, the oil service is done at Allen BMW ...
