Re: Toyota GR Yaris
I did ask the question of Toyota regarding how limited they will be, he said that he thinks that the GR isn’t profitable, possibly making a loss and so unlikely that there will be tens of thousands sold.
I am more worried that an evo version is released, that would be even more tempting!

Re: Toyota GR Yaris
I honestly dont get it. Why are so many being uprated so soon? I dont even think it looks great or sounds brilliant and yes I've watched a few vids. And for 40 grand as said earlier in the thread you can get better options. However if these are all on finance it makes them a cheap buy v something u...

Re: Toyota GR Yaris
Anyone on here getting one? Have to say, it doesn't do much for me even if it's a five-star "evo" car. It just lacks the desirability factor to spend that much on a toy. I actually can see where you are coming from as I have been jumping from "i must have one" to "im too ol...

Re: Toyota GR Yaris
did you get an improvement on this? Unfortunately not. There is a chance that build slots from other territories may be allocated to the uk but as it stands its going to be a long wait! There's a couple of Toyota dealers on Autotrader with slots this year at RRP ? Either fishing, out of date advert...

Re: Toyota GR Yaris
That looks good, but uk choices are white, Pearl, red or black. Annoying that you can’t spec both circuit and convenience packs as I would have liked the better stereo and heads up display,

Re: Toyota GR Yaris
Good point, let me add that to the man maths calculator.
I’m stupid enough to have it booked into litchfield before its run in, which wont be cheap.

Re: Toyota GR Yaris
I have no need for the 2 cars I already have, in fact I am doing more miles walking and cycling than in the car. And yet, I really really really want one of these. Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, but I think its rare that anything like this will be made again. I sat in one today outside ...

As an ex scobby driver, I find this quite sad. Even the Saab abomination was better than this.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Cheers for the link Chris. I do watched Prosser’s PH stuff; good content though he’s not as characteristic as someone like Catchpole. His ‘Rise & Drive’ series are very good though, not sure if you’ve watched them? https://youtu.be/AhbtKNHZTJo https://youtu.be/tQ49lDc4hCk It's almost as if diff...

Re: old lurker returning to the fold
I can well imagine getting an ND MX5 at some point with the 187bhp engine. Did you buy yours standard and upgrade with the BBR bits? Its disappointing that Mazda dont sell a more sporty version of the mx5 akin to the Yaris circuit pack, as it definitely lacks at least springs and a back box from th...

Re: old lurker returning to the fold
My immediate thought when you said MX5 and 540i was the mk1 MX5 and E39 540i. Clearly no time has passed in my world in the last 20 years 😄 Welcome back; I recognise your username. How on earth did you find this place? A few petrol heads have looked disappointed when they find out that its “only a ...
