Hadn’t read that and did speak to plenty of people who had it done before booking, infections and swelling seems quite common though.

Re: Who is living their best life?

Re: Big Fish or Little Fish

Thanks all, some good points to think about. The other job would certainly give a better life/work balance in terms of it is home based, and unlikely to be getting hassled out of hours. It is a small company with very little structure towards appraisals and development plans etc. I report to the pro...

Re: Big Fish or Little Fish

I have always been invested in the development and future of the company and all of the board know that which is why it feels like such a massive kick in the balls not being made a director before someone who has been there a 1/3rd of the time and not but much effort in, I guess ultimately the quest...

Re: Big Fish or Little Fish

Depends entirely on you. Working for a big corporate company interests me about as much as a punch in the face, but everyone is different. I left a well established medium sized company to join what was more or less a start up. I've enjoyed being part of a growing team - my company has grown from 6...

That’s pretty much how I feel, but wasn’t sure if I was just being petty about it and better the devil you know so to speak?

Big Fish or Little Fish

No cardboard boxes I’m afraid, just a serious question about jobs. To quote my dad would you rather be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond? Basically I have been in my job for 16 years and have worked my arse off going above and beyond what’s required all the time because the ca...

8-) One of the most counterintuitive things I've ever seen. It's been around for a while but this is a good video of the working vehicle. https://youtu.be/jyQwgBAaBag Faster down wind than the wind without tacking. Around 18:00 is the attempt at explanation.... Back to this, Steve Mould has done a ...

Re: Coronavirus

I’ve just had my first Pfizer jab about 2hrs ago- and to be honest they could have given me anything that gives some protection and I’d have been happy, because some protection is better than no protection at all. Especially given how many households I enter with work- my record is 10 in one day No...

Re: Active posters.

I'm still around, check in most days but I long since got bored of the daily pointless arguments, so I don't tend to get involved. I barely look at any forums these days. I'm aware that this in itself has the capacity to be a pointless argument... :? but I actually think it's way better on here tha...
