Re: Decent car YouTubes

TRIGGER WARNING: SHMEE CONTENT

There is nothing about this car that appeals to me. What an insane horrible racket (I don't mean Shmee) and constantly broken. Just why would you bother?

Re: Decent car YouTubes

Smelt of DPD like behavior to me, at least what I saw on twatter. A mate of a mate knows him and apparently said has no recollection of what he did.

I wonder what happened to all the cars and the £17.5k he was given. I hope she got some benefit from it at least.

Re: Decent car YouTubes

I'm not entirely surprised, his mental health was clearly very unstable. I always thought that whole fundraiser thing was a shitshow waiting to happen. 2 years suggests to me there's more to it than Deborah's tweet. I hope she can move on.

Re: Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) Update

They've taken a unit next to ours in Hethel Engineering Centre, I've heard a rumour they're working with Lotus on something.

Did they leave the transport blocks in or did you tick the All-Road option? The arch gap is nuts.

TRIGGER WARNING: SHMEE CONTENT - MOVE TO YOUR SAFE SPACE BEFORE READING TLDR: Saw a Ford GT, thought it was Shmee, he confirmed it wasn't. So due to reasons I found myself having to return to our office at Hethel Engineering Centre at 8pm last night, and being in a bit of a hurry I was hoofing it al...

Re: Jaguar

Sorry Jag fans, but at 70 I'm probably the oldest poster around these parts, and I can't forsee a time when I'll be old enough to want a Jaguar. That amused me greatly. Tim, Jimmy: take note 😄 Not everyone can be correct in life. I'd have another XJ8 in a heartbeat even tho it's a really bad idea.

Re: Cupra Ginger Alloys

Lots discussing this on the Seatcupra.net forums about how hard it is the match, with garages saying they'll struggle to match it - some have even resorted to buying new alloys @£600 each! https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/cried-after-curbing-a-copper-alloy.464930/ Thanks for taking one for ...

Re: Cupra Ginger Alloys

I’m planning on taking a set of wheels to wheelhouse alloys in Ipswich soon. Had a look around their place at the weekend and all looked very impressive. Might be worth sending a couple of photos on their Instagram, they’ve always responded pretty quickly @wheelhouse_alloys_ipswich Although if they...

Cupra Ginger Alloys

G/f has a very nice Cupra Leon Design Edition, but sadly got forced into a hedge by oncoming bell-end and kerbed one of the polished Copper alloys fairly badly. Local wheel place reckons it'll be nigh on impossibru to colour match, which is disheartening. Any local ish to Suffolk peeps got wheel ref...

No. That was a massive scam. The company that made them was owned by someone in the French gov responsible for the mad rule.

Re: Driving in France - what do I need to know?

From past experience, understanding rural/local speed limits is always a bit tricky - they tend not to post speed limit signs very frequently, and the roads are so good, it's easy to get carried away Not really nowadays, just as well posted as here. Some places in northern france have stuck to the ...
