Re: eBay 996 build thread

Yeah no bad result. You were always going to get issues and the bill aint too scary at all by the sound of it.

Re: Scumbags

Dealing with the small stuff will ultimately fix the larger problems. Hopefully Priti Patel delivers on some of her promises. Dave! Without wishing to start a political row, the Conservatives, as usual, have identified the problem correctly and then chosen exactly the wrong solution. We don’t need ...

Re: Holiday or endurance trial?

To be clear, I'm talking about 'going on holiday' not really appealing to me. Driving to the other end of the country and crashing on a mates couch for a few nights, pottering about and talking bollocks is something I can do. That's close enough to a holiday for me ;) Forgive if I'm out of line her...

Re: Watching the faces

Really Dave, I would've thought that beneath you. Truly disgusting. It only serves to confirm my suspicion that years of working in an office environment DESTROYS THE MIND and turns you into a mere CONCEPT. The next thing you know, you're falling for any old nonsense because you no longer truly exis...

Re: Watching the faces

Ignore the doubters like JL Dave. He's ridden with the fear. The gravity of his situation weighs heavy on his modest manhood. He feels as if the only course for him now is to follow the guidance of a woman. THIS IS FALSE. In time he may regain his true self but for now he is lost to concept. Seeking...

Re: Watching the faces

It's all in your mind Dave! Women are impressionable and stupid. If you truly believe that you are in fact a LIVING GOD then that is what they will see. They are looking for a leader, for a king. Not for an apologetic slave to conformity. Give them what they want Dave. They will gaze upon you, eyes ...

Re: Decent Recent TV

The Boys I enjoyed this. Violent, pretty well paced, Karl Urban is tons of fun (as are all the cast) and it's generally a good, dark laugh in the same vein as Preacher (same showrunners effectively). Worth a poke. 7 interestingly placed pieces of C4 out of 10. Just watched a couple of episodes of t...

Re: eBay 996 build thread

An unfortunate source of stress right there Dave I'm sure. I hope it sorts quickly and without great expense.

On the upside, this is a really interesting thread so keep up the good work by all means.

Re: The Motorbikerist Thread

My last two have been shoei neotecs and I'll keep on using them until someone else makes a flip front helmet that works, fits me and doesn't look totally shit.

The cost of a decent helmet is ridiculous though. £600 now. For a polystyrene hat.

Re: Bye Bye Boris!

Yeah, I just did some maths for 1970 and last year, I figured the first wave of baby boomers were probably mostly working and living on their own by around then? This was all based on figures from government sources. Inflation adjusted the average salary was around £25k and the average house price ...

They don't normally work that well, if that helps. I take it that every time you make this observation about this particular type of router you force through waves of compassion in order to prevent yourself from pointing this out to other people? Otherwise mate that's discrimination right t...

Re: Sky TV

If you get the choice go for the black router rather than the white. The WiFi coverage on the white is very poor, so you'll end up wanting a mesh. Black one is supposedly much better. What if you paint the white one black? Totally not cool these days, apparently. I think you can get around that by ...

Re: The angle grinder strikes back!

It's funny cos it's true! Well, except the bummer bit... What's in a name?. Quite a lot it would seem. Forum records indicate that a typical Gavin had to undergo special therapy just to be able to cope with the notion that humans can kill chickens. It's a grave responsibility naming a child. ...

I'm sure the 690 is great fun. Apart from the vibes, which I'm told have improved no end, my 640 was ace. Big KTMs, like the BMWs and much else, are just too powerful and complex now. Seriously impressive but somehow missing the fun bit somehow. At least that's what I keep telling myself anyway

Re: The angle grinder strikes back!

A truly shocking incident but at least nobody I care about was harmed and at least Gavin appears to have learnt his lesson here. Although one can't help but wonder why somebody so named ever thought it wise to pick up an angle grinder in the first place?. Angle grinders are tools for the Daves and J...
