An olive-drab green Trabant, complete with 'DDR' sicker on the back, doing a lap of the car park at the South London Porche Centre. I think he was looking for the Tescos petrol station, which is next door.

Re: Two weeks

That’s really awful - I hope they didn’t break into your house to get the keys. Sincere sympathies. I think these get stolen without the need for the original keys, you most likely just need to gain access to the OBD port, program a blank key to the car, and then use that to start it. Sorry to hear...

Re: How did you end up owning the car(s) that you have now?

BMW M135i - Just fancied one, they were the hot shit at the time they were new and everyone seemed to love them. Also I was starting to do a few more motorway miles at the time, and the stupid short gearing in the Clio 197 I had, together with the really uncomfortable Recaro seats was all the justif...

hopefully the mini gets wrapped up It has been, in blue plastic. Didn't you even watch the video? Not sure how anyone can be interested enough to watch previous videos of bracket making, then be 'over it' sufficiently that they don't want to see the final assembly  Trust me a lot of the bracke...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I followed a Model S from home to Skipton earlier. He booted it once the way cleared upto 1** and i was surprised to find it didn't pull away from me, in fact over 100 I was pulling on it. Had a dual motor badge on the back and was a 20 plate, no other badges so I'm not sure what spec it was. Very ...

PS - have you been looking on the retro rides for sale forum, it's where I got the Mercedes. The DC2 looks superb! I don’t even mind the heavy Rota wheels! https://forum.retro-rides.org/thread/217962/honda-integra-type-tyne-wear https://img.retro-rides.org/i/v/lel80e/27d7b3ec2bfe.jpg Wow, that look...

Re: Coronavirus

I had mine on Friday morning (AZ) after receiving the invitation text on Thursday afternoon - I (45 yo) was suprised to get it and was expecting not to get anything before late-April/early May, so they really seem to be cracking on. Following the jab I felt ok all day until about 11pm when I started...

Re: Your fleet running reports

We only ever got 2.0 Turbo's on this country. Its a simple enough conversion, but a small boost tweak takes the 2.0 to 200hp which will be more than enough in 1300kg. Should be similar power to weight as a R56 Cooper S which was quick enough to have fun with. The cornering ability is where the fun ...

If you’re keeping the car a couple of years it’s probably cheaper to just fit the cage ?? Did you reinsure with them recently? They told me that the und...

Re: Your fleet running reports

It appears it is battery season, the one in the M135i keeps complaining that it is discharged, the CTEK charger and voltmeter say otherwise though and it shows no signs of struggling to start, but is most likely the original battery and has been sitting for long periods so may be on the decline. It ...
