Re: Your fleet running reports
Well, to be honest it would be nice to see solar all over supermarket / factory / warehouse roofs which is just dead wasted space instead of covering fields with it, but obviously there are logistic and structural issues with that which probably make it many times more expensive to install and maint...

Re: For Sells Lotus Elise S1
Will just be what PH defaults it to based on the reg. you would hope the 140 kit has something approaching 140hp (or PS)
Hmm, looks a decent price. Am I ready for a full on mid life crisis yet?

Things like that would piss me off immensely.
Be great going into work and explaining you were half an hour late because your car was doing an update.

Re: No F1 thread?
Yep, struggling with tyres. Apparently if you over drive even a fraction it would overheat the outer surface losing grip, but the actual carcass wouldn’t warm up, but the Mclaren was good at evenly heating the entire structure. The Race on YouTube normally have decent little vids that explain the te...

I like weird looking cars….
I like the overall shape, I just think the black bits at the back don’t look great.

I like it. The black bit at the back on the coupe looks a bit weird, but you can see what they were trying to do. It looks rubbish on the soft top though.

While I’m not going to go as far as to say all burglars should be shot, anyone breaking into someone else’s house is utter scum, and I hate the ‘good lad’ tributes that pop up surrounding things like this. Not sure what aggravated burglary means, but assume it means with weapons or threats of violen...

Re: Decent car YouTubes
To be fair, modern cars don’t go quicker because they keep making the engine restrictors smaller, probably as a result of that and the flying cars of the late 90s.
The v12 engine bmw put in their X5 lm made more power in that than in the lmp car it came out of.

Re: Jobbo interior
The whole of that Merc looks like you're seeing it through green glass. Brilliant. I remember being at a services somewhere and seeing a relatively new merc clk with what looked like a bright Smurf blue interior and thinking it was pretty cool. Then the owner came back, opened the door and it was j...

They’ve also claimed they’re now making 1000 a week yet delivered less than 4000 since they started delivering in December. I know it takes a while to ramp up production, but seems like quite a difference, especially as there’s supposed to be an insane waiting list, you’d think they’d be shipped out...

Just seen a video showing the issue, and yeah, if the cover is held on that poorly it’s east to see how it could get jammed! https://www.facebook.com/share/v/96r1hueF7ETw7vMe/?mibextid=WC7FNe Not sure if Facebook links work, or if you need to be logged on. But yeah, it’s a stainless plate over a pla...

The compact now has a fresh mot with no advisories.
Looking forward to using it again. Added bonus is any future mots will be well into more daylight months instead of the depths of winter!
