Re: Elon Musk/Tesla
Yes, I'm assuming the German drop-off is directly linked to the nazi salute, it's as simple as that. I guess globally the brand has really been suffering in the last 6 months or so and then there's the fact that every month there's a new choice of EV car so its bound to dilute their sales figures.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Doesn’t sound good - and JayEmm is clearly shaken. I watched this and couldn't help wondering what the point of that video was, other than generating likes and views off the back of it. Unless he was directing him to "do a big skid mate" and he's trying to generate some faux concern or ge...

Re: Decent car YouTubes
I’ve just been reminded that Guntherwerks exists. This is my restomod 911 of choice. https://youtu.be/XW4-WzwSsak?si=NlOhv7hsUzTKsGAR These always look like they've been over-inflated by a few 100psi therefore I'm out. I was about to post something about why I didn't like it, then read your c...

Re: Your Coffee Machine Running Reports
I've got one of these at home and the model without the milk frothing jug at work, both really excellent machines that make a fantastic cup of coffee. I drink black coffee so i'm very fussy about it as I don't dilute it with milk or sugar. https://www.johnlewis.com/delonghi-la-specialista-maestro-e...

Re: Your Coffee Machine Running Reports
Holy thread bump Batman. Just got the kitchen finished and we want to replace our pod-based machine that leaks with something which will make lovely coffee and ideally, not leak. Space isn't an issue to have something permanently on the counters, so I was just wondering what recommendations are? I l...

Re: Decent car YouTubes
That's awful, but at least he's said the person involved will make a full recovery. Can imagine just how much of a shock that must have been given how many years he's been making videos without any incident and he's clearly a top bloke and a proper enthusiast so its even more of a shame its happened...

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Blimey, he’s been enjoying the winter! he’s so big he’s waddling! I know he's been joking about it here and there but I think the whole Freddie Flintoff thing hit him pretty hard and then the Top Gear fallout from that. Could be totally wrong and mis-remembering comments or reading too much into th...

For browsing & watching your stuff after you've completely legally downloaded it, Plex is excellent, btw. We've got Plex running on a Synology with Infuse on devices to watch and it's incredibly reliable. This stuff has come on so far in the last 10 years or so. For finding things that are not ...
Re: Eurosport
I'm starting to go back to the high seas too and the quality on offer is now so much better than it used to be :D It's getting ridiculously expensive if you want to watch everything of interest these days and very difficult to dip in and out without signing up to something for a month or more at a t...

Re: Harry’s Garage
The M2 thing is a weird comparison, I don't see them being on the same list for most people. The previous-gen M2 interior is good - no way it would look or feel as-dated as the GT86 one.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Those rally ones are epic, have subscribed immediately! I always look forward to the Hagerty videos, really enjoyed that one on the GT3. I've still never driven one, would be interesting to see how the Comfort/Touring one feels on our crappy roads. New Chris Harris vid on the Vanquish. https://www.y...

Re: Your fleet running reports
GG. Can't be coincidence with that mileage. Still driving around with yellow tape on the window as OPC have finally confirmed they can fix it in mid-March so have asked the one in Perth to see when they could do it. I'd been having a (first world) grumble about the lack of comfort access on the Dak...
Re: Eurosport
Pretty gutted about this given the sports they covered and how much time they devoted to them. The cost of these sports channels is out of control and due to the rights issues being so fragmented, its not like you could even just subscribe to one to follow your favourite team or even sport unless it...

Had the same thought... Those cyclist boxes are very triggering for many drivers!

Did I read this right about the helicopter & plan collision?
US President Donald Trump says he has been briefed on the "terrible accident" and questions why the helicopter didn't "go up or down"

Re: The House Projects Thread
Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to court we go... I have a costs hearing at 2pm today, in relation to the hearing in November 2022 where my neighbours were first determined to be in breach of their lease. The judge offered a measly 15% of our total costs from that first hearing, bceause the leases don't set...

Yip, cyclist is looking at his feet rather than ahead. Which seems mental given he's in a pack of 3 or 4.

Re: Someone had a bad day...
I'm amazed it took someone this long to post up the Hamilton mafia don picture.
When it first popped up last week I had to check it wasn't a Sniff Petrol special.
Didn't take Jeremy long....
