The side profile of an Esprit is still very much a beautiful thing.

100% coverage, with 100% butter and on hot toast so it goes nice and soft but doesn't become liquid.

Re: Pointless speed limit changes

Did some of these confusing, short-distance limits on approach to villages pop up during COVID or have I misremembered that? And did I also misremember that they were supposed to be coming back out post-COVID?

Re: The Music Thread

Anyone got any decent gigs lined up to go see the end of this year?

I'm off to see Elvana at Leeds O2 academy at the end of this month, who are supposed to be pretty decent and good fun by the sound of it.

Oh and Madness in the big arena in December, thats for the boy (9 years old) as they're ...

@Ascender tyre storage option 😉

I can only imagine the cost!

Have you looked at winters for the Touring yet? I must do something about it soon before we end up with winters being hard to get.

Thanks both. I know its pretty simple stuff but always good to get some first-hand feedback on stuff in use.

I'm also locked into Ring, so that part makes sense I guess!

I wasn’t a fan of the steering wheel. Porsche offered a much more attractive wheel at the time than that one - can’t understand why they fitted something which would have been in a basic Boxster, just trimmed in alcantara.

Like this one?

Re: The House Projects Thread

I think I'm going to put a solar panel on the shed/store to power an indoor light and maybe some other small stuff. Has anyone done this sort of thing on outbuildings before? I was also wondering about what I'd need to power a couple of cameras down at the horse field too. Is that something you've ...

Re: Harry’s Garage

That GT2 RS is a beautiful thing. The interior, steering wheel etc looks positively retro now.

I wasn't sure about the carbon bonnet in that colour, but maybe it stood out more because of the lighting in his garage.

I really would like to drive some GT cars to see how they all compare in the real ...

I liked the Weapons trailer, seemed like an interesting premise and its just been released to buy on Apple TV so thought I'd give it a watch.

Fvck me. What a ride of absolute insanity through tense thriller to WTAF.

Well worth watching.

Re: New Testarossa

The Testarossa was my ultimate dream car as a teenager so when I saw the post title I was instantly excited. I think I'm disappointed though, especially as you can see cues from their 80s cars in little bits, but I think it just looks like another modern Ferrari unfortunately.

Matt Berry is a joy in everything he does, so its no surprise you were pushing for him!

Just seen this new Death Star set which seems to be getting a lot of complaints, what's the story, just over the cost? Or the set itself?

I didn't realise this wasn't on closed roads

I know that's a pretty big thing to organise at relatively short notice but I can only imagine what that must have been like for all involved!

Re: Decent Recent TV

I'm really enjoying Alien Earth although that eyeball mini-octopus thing is absolute nightmare fuel.

I binge watched Dexter Resurrection this weekend... I was a big fan of the original (until it went shit) and the New Blood one was done surprisingly well if you just ignore how we get there.

Anyway ...

Re: I feel a NIP in the air...

Not a bad result for 31mph over the limit - or was it only 21mph over because they recorded you on the dual carriageway section?

I've been noticing that Worcestershire is very much worse than Gloucestershire for speed enforcement. Plenty of villages with long 30 or 40 limits through them where ...

Re: I feel a NIP in the air...

A few months ago I was caught up a gun outside the village by traffic cops... I know they sit there sometimes but just totally forgot to check on that day. 60 mph road, summer morning, dry and sunny, nothing on the road and I had a "squirt up the hill" onto a bit of dual carriageway which is an ...

Re: The House Projects Thread

There's an unfinished garage across the our house which had a few courses of bricks laid about 30 years ago and then left so we've decided we'll finish it and use it for storage. The floor is being poured next week and then we'll get the rest finished, but I'm now starting to think it's a waste of a ...

B&Q one does look good too. I see that Larbanke seller is offering the same 5&7 drawer combo I have for £280 which would work out the same width as the B&Q one (and there are (fiddly) links to join them together. B&Q job is a lot deeper though so ultimately it’ll swallow more.

Really depends ...
