Looks like a great collection of people. So are they all going to be doing exclusive, paywalled content I guess?
Re: EV Thread
Honda seem to be desperate to sell some eny1s again, if anyone is after some cheap EV motoring.
£8750 “Honda EV grant”, £10k finance contribution, £3k or so of retailer support, 0% finance and 5 years warranty/servicing. Works out around £200pm, £500 deposit.
That's a pretty incredible deal ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
What a mess, hope you're ok.
I was on a course last week and recovery firms are starting to get twitchy about recovering EVs from shunts if there's any hint of damage to the chassis which leaves the battery models at risk of leaking toxic gases or fire due to thermal runaway. If the car has been on ...

I'm sure he was also called out for some less than lovely behaviour towards women just as the film was finishing shooting.
That aside, he just comes across as an insufferable prick.

Tron Ares
Some great visual effects set pieces, and those set pieces are well directed.
Everything outside of those scenes is a fucking embarrassment to all involved.
The main character has nonsensical - even by Tron standards - characterisation, and Leto doesn't have the charisma to even come ...

That looks like great fun and reasonably priced too, can't wait to hear about. Definitely on the list for the future.

Apart from the paranoid bit of me not wanting an LG to connected to the internet,
 - as someone with an LG connected to the Internet, what should I be worried about ??

Re: For Sells - Corsa 1.4 SRi
Looks nice! My daughter loves her Corsa which was my son's previously. Cracking little car! And a 1.4?! That's a veritable rocket ship compared to her 1.0.
I feel slightly bad though as I've spent the last two days cutting Corsas to bits as part of RTC training. It seems that the fire service ...

Oops, missed this.IanF wrote: Mon Feb 02, 2026 3:11 pm I have LG and use the apps on there Mike.. what’s the benefit of Apple TV?
Apart from the paranoid bit of me not wanting an LG to connected to the internet, I’ve always found the inbuilt tv os to be very slow and laggy compared to the Apple TV and its apps.
Re: RS5
There are some good deals on M5 Touring as a company car, I know a few who've gone down that route.
But... interior quality looks a step down from M3. Interior lighting looking like a 90s Dixons hifi has gone up exponentially. Lots of people complain about the ride quality and tyre noise. And ...

There were some truly fantastic cars there, but also what appeared to be a decent collection of utter bellends too.
Swings and roundabouts I guess.

I'd love to experience the Skeleton in terms of how it feels to steer and control it and then being able to see how a good run feels v a bad one when you're dialled in and making small adjustments.

Thanks for linking the article, that was a good read.
Whilst there's no doubt that Jony Ive is someone who definitely loves to sniff his own farts, I do love his design work. It's when he's given too much leeway and isn't challenged that the problems start, but all this stuff looks lovely.

Fuck me it takes a while to get going, but get going it does. If you’ve not read the book, and no one’s told you about it you don’t see the twist coming

The wizzy noise off the drone - totally agree. Not sure why this is necessary. Take Video from the Drone and Audio from the track side microphones.
It's weird right? Footage is amazing but the buzzing on the audio is irritating and I thought it would be an easy fix.
I'm also not tiring of ...

I've got an LG and never touch any of the apps, have disabled network connectivity other than when I check for updates occasionally. We have an Apple TV connected to it and that's all we use on it now.

I've started watching The Night Manager season 2 after a rewatch of the first one. Jury is out after a few episodes and I'm wondering if the thumbnail on the BBC iplayer is a massive spoiler - which is difficult to avoid as its on the home screen of the app.
