Re: Fury vs Usyk

I've heard it numerous times that Fury is a nice chap in real life and quite unassuming but turns into this gypsy monster when in the boxing spotlight.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Not like it needs launching on the brakes, it's quick enough off the line as it is, more just curious about how you emulate a clutch dump launch in an auto. There were instructions in the M340i handbook. The accelerator had to be on the floor for the symbol to come on dashboard. Only did it twice a...

Re: Fury vs Usyk

I'm looking forward to it. I'm no expert but feel they are both cracking boxers but the saying is a good biggun will always beat a good littleun, we'll see :)

Hopefully I can stay up long enough!

Re: Your fleet running reports

It took you 5 hours to change the pads and hub assembly on 1 wheel on the Model 3 lol

Re: Your fleet running reports

A proper service is not just filters and fluids though. A decent specialist will check codes, brakes, tyres, bushes, cleaning, lubing and so on this all adds up.

I'd gladly pay my reliable mechanic 5hrs at £70 for that.

Re: EV Thread

I appreciate the Times article is probably big oil bought and paid for propaganda but discounts on new cars are a plenty regardless of propulsion.

For example any M is available at a significant discount some at 20% or more.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Yes lol. I've had a trade bid of £18k, retail seems to be 21-22k. I have time so will try and sell it privately for £19,500. It's under warranty, has a service pack for another 2 years, new rear tyres and a glass roof which was a £2k option and really nice to have. They seem to have a bit of a follo...

Re: Your fleet running reports

My first i3 I bought during COVID as I needed a runaround and fancied a try in an EV. I really enjoyed it so ordered the s which upped the fun stakes. They were bought to try something new and really worked for me so no regrets. My wife's Sportage will likely be replaced with an EV in the next 12 mo...

Re: Your fleet running reports

spec? 👍🏻 (I've now warmed to them!) Poverty in Toronto Red with Black Vernasca interior with M accents. Only option I would have liked was a heated steering wheel but you have to buy the comfort pack at £750 which means you get comfort access which I specifically don't want. https://i.ibb.co/hytMx2...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I'm also back on the 2v1 car debate now I'm back down to about 6k/year. I like the idea of just having one nice, do-it-all car (like a Giulia QF) but then...it seems pointless to have something decent to commute when I spend most of my time sitting in M6 traffic. I've been bleating about buying som...

As proof I (we) really don’t understand women, this one has been messaging me more in the last few days than she did whilst dating, making it sound like this was a push for more commitment (??) and so we are meeting up for a chat later.. maybe she reads this forum!? 🤣 Tl;dr - woman be crazy! He did say it's torque limited in 1st and 2nd gear which I assume would mitigate some clutch wear.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Motorhome finally sold last week. It was a spur of the moment purchase early 2022 after 7 years of touring caravans and although great fun we never used it enough to justify having nearly £50k sat in it. Not sure if it is luck or they are always financially good news but it only depreciated £2k over...

It looked a right handful in the Harry video and can't imagine anyone ever got out of a new M2 and felt it lacking power lol

Re: Today’s want

The G series cars have a chunkier transmission tunnel which seems to dwarf the manual lever.

The last M2 was a peach in terms of size and set up😎
